Steve Johnson: I had to try different versions of the apk software to make it work. After 2 versions of the Google framework and 3 versions of the other software I finally got it to work.
arobsitevids: If you have the first gen kindle fire, then you cannot get newer apps. This is because it is based off Android 2.2 Gingerbread, and you cannot get newer apps on an old device. If you have the HD, then you can install the newest Google Apps, because it is based off the current android version, 4.2.2 Jellybean.
Alexander Spinelli: does it work on kindle 6.3.2 too
orion lozano: it worked
Cameron LaPage: I have everything installed but I can't connect with Google Plus and I can't sync with docs. Can I have help?
Cameron LaPage: Same with me. Did this happen with Google Services Framework?
LimarieLuvsJesus: I did this and it worked, but the youtube app is so outdated. I would like for him to re-do this but have the new youtube app in the zip file.
Jude Sumaria: but it worked!!!!!!!!
Jude Sumaria: damn had to do it like 5 times
melithuh: What's the point of downloading the store if you can't get apps from it anyway :/

James Haughton: will this work with firmware 7.2.3
MrShawndoc: These instructions are for a first generation Kindle Fire. Not either model of the Fire HD or the Kindle Fire 2.
SG7Music: Not much I can do to change it now. freakING DEAL WITH IT!!!
sarah braswell: Cut your freaking fingernails. Grosses me the freak out.
Liz Kimber: i have a fire hd, and this worked but the amazon fb app then crashed and the google+ app couldnt connect to the server. As google+ was the thing I wanted most I was annoyed so unistalled bith the framework and google books and all is as it was
jaydin sibble: @matthewpb2
Henry Percy: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
SG7Music: If you want to install apps from the Google Play Store, you have to root your kindle.
Jose Rosas: I was able to install Google Play and Google Framework System without a problem. I was able to open a account via Google Play and it all worked. Just when I got my spirits up, I tried to download an app but just theuld not Download it
SG7Music: Google Play Store doesn't work if your kindle isn't rooted.
matthewpb27: I can't access the Google Play Store. Send a link so I can download it directly
matthewpb27: How exactly did you do that?
dstizationable: how do u get to the google apps

Penguinloverrrrrs: Shift4g can you please tell me how you got google play to work on an unrooted kindle fire!
SG7Music: Could you give me the link of the apk you used to install the Play Store?
Shift4g: I just sideloaded the Google Play Store on a non-rooted Fire, and it's working without issues. I am baffled!
bwbrandon5: Thanks man, this works great.
SG7Music: Not at the moment, but I will try and find a solution.
adamarimba: when I attempt to open the GoogleServicesFramework.apk it says there is no application available. Any suggestions?
SooHooSanSama: Did not work for me.
SG7Music: You can "side load" other android apps if they are compatible. This video only shows how to connect google services with apps like books, youtube and google apps. It is possible to get the android market "Play Store" on kindle, but you have to root your device.
MrElihernandez: so does this let me get apps to or just like books and music like can i download android apps with this just wondering
SG7Music: I just tested this on 4/2/2012 with firmware 6.3, and it still works.
KompressorV12: awesome man.. I bought my girl a KF for Christmas because she loves reading but hates my addiction to tech she refuses to buy a smartphone so this was a golden opportunity.. needless to say she rarely reads on it but always running apps and the other reasons the fire is so great .. I want her to have Gmail and Google talk so we can chat .. excellent instructions.. I just hope they are recent because if I remember correctly this worked back in December until the kindle's OS was updated.. u sure?
