carpet cleaning: Do you put regular gas on this on the gas tank or you mix it

Loretta Caputo: I have the same atv. Bought it used and quickly discovered the curse of the older Sportsman 400 engine when the original cast piston skirt was worn and cracked dropping down into the case blowing a hole in the bottom of the case. Had the engine professionally rebuilt all new bearings, seals and a Wiseco forged piston. I also removed the oil injector and go premix. It would be stupid to have that fail on a completely rebuild engine. I have also put an automotive temp gauge and a tach with hours of use on it as the original pod with hours and rpm was missing on the one I bought. I use it for firewood and tree work on my land. Snowplowing in the winter. Deer retreival during hunting season. Anyone who has this engine and it is still original should have the piston replaced or get ready to kiss the engine goodbye. I run Seafoam in gas mixture as part of the maintenance to keep the carb clean. I like the machine and it serves me well. Gave me an education on stroke repair, operation and maintenance. Anyone needing good professional service on Polaris should contact Todd Reid in Texas. Good work, good service and guarentees his work.

justvideos4u: I was driving it over done dirt mounds and got stuck. instead of picking it up and moving it I just keep giving it gas and broke the chain buying a hole in the case. sad day.

Randall Ross: How'd you blow a hole in the tranny?

Bradley Mincey: cool. thanks

justvideos4u: spacer was 1" don't know tie size anymore. sold it.

Bradley Mincey: what size rims and tire do you have on that and how big of a spacer did you have to get in the front

justvideos4u: No, never had to take the racks off. Sorry.

Tanner Christle: Did you ever remove the racks for anything? I'm looking to pull mine off and re-finish them but cannot seem to find any info on the removal of the racks, any help would be greatly appreciated!

ILL BILL NECRO: "All the Polaris 400's are 2 strokes".... No they are not.
