r14balu: Is it fine if I connect the cooling pad to USB of PS3????
ANTHONY: If your parents dont buy you w.e you want like this fags parents do... do
what i do and point a house fan at it. No need to buy a damn laptop cooling
beyond305: we dont give a freak a freak what ps3's you had in the past
andy gilchrist: Leadwing85, the device sucks air out of the PS3 and so the room the PS3 is
in will be as hot as Spain probably aha. My PS3 is constantly hot and
freezes every 2 hours. It works but to reduce the time for it getting hot I
put 4 wooden stilts below the corners of the PS3 to keep it less hot. I
usually open a window while playing on my PS3.
Andres Reynoso: Add andresr060602
Daniel Hernandez: Just turn it off for about and hour or 2 . It will eventually cool down.
CBIE: Im going to buy a ps4
vaios k: do you know a way to cool your ps4?
jayvonne campfield: how do u fix disc error
xxpyroxx75: i made this thing ware its just 2 computer fans that i set up right behind
the hot air vents in the back and have them sucking out and it keept mine
Vaxyne Niscx: Thermaltake for the freaking win
andy gilchrist: I don't want a fan to suck air out of the PS3, that will only make the air
around the PS3 hotter.
Vaxyne Niscx: also tiger direct used to be circuit city, just some added info that got me
to love td
Waddawik: beiber... we know its you
Fang: Or be ghetto like me and turn the Ps3 on it side and point a desk fan at
Mark Daniel: every time i play i turned on my aircon :)
EnzioCazzle: The bigger fan for me is better because heat rises up so there is no need
for it to be sucked down and be blown away :))
SinisterMvs: They overheat really easy when using HDMI Not standard unless your blocking
the fan from escaping the heat but My brother freaked his up by doing that .
Apparently HDMI Runs more hotter because its going for the best graphics
TrolLEpicZ: You can't drill holes at the bottom because that is where the motherboard,
HDD, and CPU's are located. There is absolutely no space for drilling.
HitmanAtM16: get that checked out! try putting it into safe mode (google it) and click
on the "restore file system" option. this may help :)
Kaleb Haney: You shoulda heard my xbox when I plugged it in, brand new making the
loudest noises and eating my disks. So inferior to the ps3 hardware wise, I
had ps3 9 months before it started getting warm
HitmanAtM16: Why need all of that, when chuck norris can simply blow the ps3 once, and
cool that thing down instantly ?
MegaGibby96: There are so fan at the bottom sir...The most important fan for the PS3 is
in the back. Where the at ports are at. You're cooling nothing just
Ran Hiroaki: vacuuming can dislodge chips on the motherboard if your vacuum has a lot of
suction. Small vacuums with low but still measurable suction are best. My
personal opinion is to actually vacuum once a month or so hopefully on a
medium powered vacuum use a cooling pad that sucks in air rather than
pushing the air and once every year or two open up the system and with a
glasses cleaning cloth (DRY) do a once over on any dust clots or anything
near the internal fan. If dust builds in the fan the rpm
Julien Nogueras: the failure rate for ps3(original) is .05. that means out of 1000 over 4
years 5 will fail. the failure rate for ps3 (slim) is .02 that means out of
1000 over 4 years 2 will fail. the failure rate for ps3 (super slim) is .01
that means out of 1000 over 4 years 1 will fail.
latinconn: CFM = Cubic Feet per Minute - it's a unit of measurement for airflow...
JASON VENNER: nice said that is true ps3 are the number one consoles freak xbox there crap
latetag: your a moron
Geekinatorx: My ps3 overheated and the high temperature freaked up the laser, ill use
this tip to prevent the new one from freaking up
rinocerota: very informative Dude .... thank U
HitmanAtM16: dont worry, its not there anymore :D
mechreports1: because the heatsinks are aluminium and that is crap for conducting
heat.... i upgraded my fat ps3 with copper plates on the heatsink and it
worked alot better also i put better thermal paste on too....
jorge villalpando: Also if you open it up and clean all the dust, and drill some holes at the
bottom it will help out a lot more
Mattew Olson: Im buying GTA V Bundle
mac199606: Well They overheat because people dont know how to use them like they put
in on carpet or in a inclosed space
HitmanAtM16: never did on day 1, i just bought this to pamper it and keep it cooler
lilrican1971: i just took the cover off my ps3 slim added three more fans stacked them on
each other. put then on top of the ps3 main fan usb plug into the ps3, now
i feel very little warm air from the back not hot air like it was blowing
out at first. and my ps3 be on for days non stop so i like not having the
led on it and the extra fans did the job, plus i repaste and dust it out
about every 6 months.
Oneshot2kills3454: I have a 120gb fatty it works fine but overheats very quickly
latetag: too cool...electronics fail from being too hot and too cold..the changes in
temperatures is what cracks connections and such.
Kei Kei: Not moaning just saying that I have never vacuumed my PS3 Slim vents and
its never overheated and I've had it for almost 3 years September 4th will
be three years on the dot but it still works fine and don't go out buying
coolers you can make one using a old PC fan and a USB cable!
SuperLonestar100: how to get yellow light of death. my Ps3 refurbished 40gb
latetag: yes it's the best idea actually
Prich038: How can that cool your PS3? There is no air intake under it, and cooling
the Plastic underneath won't do too much tbh
Brayan Martinez: Wait so the super slim gets more hatter then just the slim? I haven't had
my slim overheat fast unless i play for about 7-10 hours which i really do
but still, can someone answer me back?
stephen trowbridge: This is to much money. Just take 4 bottle caps (I use pop caps) and put
them at the for corners, the cold air in the room gets under it and gets in
the vents better. Like if you use this trick or will start it.
SuperLonestar100: my ps3 40gb refurbished age 3 year old 2009 Christmas to 2013
TheMann400: If you really want to know how to keep your PS3 cool it called clean the
dust out once in a while. and make sure your room or any where in your
house is under 72'F any higher then 75'F i would not recommend playing it
kenny turner: Is it bad if I put it on a cable box from two?
HitmanAtM16: not a bad idea, watch out for dust accumulation though
