funnyfailer99: The new aprilia and especially the one you're sitting on is 4 stroke not 2,
old ones are 2 but that one isn't you can tell by the sound
Axton Reed: The Aprilia is only less reliable if you dont look after it like any 2
stroke, treat it well and it will never let you down.
joemay5: Well the aprillia does sound abit like a hairdryer, and that just kills the
soundslikeaplan994: Yeah you can.
XTGR1: @soundslikeaplan994 what is the exhaust on the Yamaha called?
gottacatch3mall: I've had 30 000 kms on my aprilia, it has 154cc cylinder, better exhaust
and better reeds and 34 carburettor... It's the user, not the bike... It's
not even that powerful for a 125cc, it has 25-30 hp, and the bike easily
handles that much. And i'd say the minarelli (yamahas) is the most
unreliable You don't seem to know what your talking about, but at least you
know more than SlayTheSlicer who just sent me a private message. If you
wan't to talk more, just sent me a message, don't comment here.
acr7450: not to be smart but he said R1 not R6
Eoin Delaney: Great video lads!
thetwostrokeway: rs all the way. iv owned one for 14 months never get left behind never
leaves me wanting more. perfect.
DDblazing: I had a raptor, unless you buy it in GREAT condition they're a freaking
nightmare, same as the aprilia RS. Don't let the speed get the better of
you, they sound horrid, handle horrid and take a lot of maintenance. You'll
still have fun getting 70-80mph out of a 4 stroke like the yamaha r125 and
you'll get the real buzz of speed when you move up to bigger bikes :)
paolo bacudo: GO for the Big Bikes ....
MultiApriliars125: i buy aprilia for 5 day and i go with my friends :D :P my friend have honda
nsr 125 and honda cbr 125 buy SLAP Is best :D :P
soundslikeaplan994: Cheers fella
Jack surman: ive got an aprilla rs 125 its a great bike alot of people do say they are
unreliable and this can true but ive never had a problem, what the bike
just needs proper maintenance from time to time the reason they are less
reliable is people just don't know how to take care of them which is a
shame as it puts alot of people off a great bike that is a lot of fun,
Rory mayoh: good effort lads. :)
11BEANZY: if only it were just 1 test
ElectricWar: Dumme lauchs ahaha
soundslikeaplan994: Honestly don't get put off it. That was just our example, it was ridden
harshly for 12,000 miles in just a year in all weathers which doesn't help.
Although he always put good fuel/2 stroke oil in it. You could never have a
problem it depends how you will ride/maintain it, they're fantastic bikes
and Donnell said even with the problems he's had, he would never choose a
different 125. If you like it, get one. Just be cautious of high maintaince
hntrza ckingz: i would like to ask you if the exhaust of yzf 125 is the stock one because
it really has a great engine sound.
Miguel De la Cruz: KlemzeTV! Ybf 125? I think ppl are a little mixed up. Let me clear this up
for you since I work for yamaha! There is no ybf however there is a ybr but
I can assure all that the YZF R125 is based on the R6 as daffyd2009
KingKarmel1: No price
Viktor Hansen: Aprilia is best! thats it.
MrSaxonUK: dude I have a 2009 RS 125 had it for 5 months now and is it normal for the
inner exhaust to be glowing orange (very hot metal glow) inside after a 20
gottacatch3mall: Explain why? You probably don't know anything about bikes..
SlayTheSlicer: Aprilia is a crapi bike! buy yamaha or honda
soundslikeaplan994: The more comfy one is the R125 because it has a taller seat height and
lower pegs so it's better for comfort/taller people. The RS is faster but
the R125 is more economical n stuff, like we said it depends if you'd
prefer performance or practicality :-)
Mis Koz: 2T vs 4T... This is supersport...in 125ccm cubature only 2stroke :)
Gabriel Soprano: What's the top speed of both bikes? Nice vid btw! :)
Frost Boy: Not everyone wants to kill themselves you know.
Alex Kendall: well acualy the r6 and r1 where both disigned to be simular the r6 mainly
came from the r1 at the begging throughtout the years they have changed
abit but i still think the r6 and r1 look alike so it dosent matter whitch
one people say its based on :)
soundslikeaplan994: Yeah, Donnell's Rs 125 (Bear in mind he bought it brand new) has had to
have an engine rebuild at 12,000 miles. He's went through a lot of tyres,
the electrics have been fried, has to put £15 fully synthetic 2 stroke oil
and the exhaust has caved in :/ The servicing intervals are frequent too.
Yeah they're right about parts ordering... They take a while. They're
expensive to maintain but they do have really great handling and
performance :-) If you can handle the downsides, get one - they're ace
soundslikeaplan994: The Yamaha is better to learn on than the Aprilia. We dunno about the price
they were £4000 in the UK but I think they're discontinued now. I dunno
about the 250s.. We all went for restricted big bikes cos you've got a lot
more torque and presence. If I were you I'd do 125 to a 400 or 600 or
something - some 125s are quite fast!
gottacatch3mall: I prefer 4 strokes sound, but i rather drive a 2 stroke because of its
TheDimdel: 2 stroke is always faster compared to a 4s troke but 4 stroke will last
longer than 2 stroke on the road. 2 stroke heats up twice faster than 4
Jay ross: Are these sold in the us?
soundslikeaplan994: read the title... "specs review"
Dach Tera: Erm, which one of them has that low mean sound ?
soundslikeaplan994: Yeah spot on, if you look after them and maintain them well they should be
fine. Don't nail them everywhere, n like your mate said: warm them up and
use top quality oil. Commutings good although I reckon fuel consumption
would be quite high? It depends if you can manage it or not/how far your
commute is. Good luck mate :-)
TacticalStingray: yeah he said its based on the R1 however this is incorrect it is based on
mydan991: "biggest selling most highly rated 125's on the market today" - No mate,
these are the best selling sports 125, the YBR has more sales than the RS
Rahsaan Brown: Your zyf sounded like a beast what exhaust do you have on it?
reymysteri0sucks: comparing 2stroke with 4stroke is kinda...
Alex Kendall: sorry just want to say that the aprillia rs when de-restricted can reach
speeds up to 110 iv seen but can get to 100 alright yet the yamaha cant be
de resticted only taken the rev limiter off but that wont make much
diffrent tbh unless you tune it all with stuff like a 180 boar kit and
raceing filters so the aprilia is alot faster but with it being a two
stroke if you redline it alot to always go 100mph then it will blow up also
you have to let it warm up so bad for in a rush
Gareth Rogers: I'm a mature biker. I've had the rs125 it was brilliant fun. Performance
115mph but had starter problems in the end. Handled better than any other
bike I've ridden. Well done lads I applaud your efforts. Ignore the losers.
You clearly out a lot of effort into this. Try giving some real world
comparison. Like mpg speed what are the like to ride in town n on roads.
Keep going lads
ThePr0biker: Aprilia is way more fun to drive :)
Gabriel Soprano: Thats right, but in the moment i can't afford none of those ...
soundslikeaplan994: its a remus powercone, we have 600's now so we cant do that but there's a
video of the yzf r125 if you search it on our channel
Blackdavid2011: Every bike is not reliable if you dont treat it good. YES, i have more
mantainance on my RS, but it goes better, not ust faster, better
acceleration, better top speed, and for me better sound too. I respect the
R125, but i like my Aprilia and i would never change it for anything else..
PygeonKilla97: They are both legal for 17 yr olds, Jesus guys just read the law lol not
hard to understand
Benjamin Johannessen: The 2 stroke sound is up to every person to decide if they like or not so
stop complaining about it. I have never had cagiva so i don't know, but
i've got 2 aprilia (2007 and 2006 - 125cc) and never had any problems at
all. The problems with 2 strokes is very rarely hard to fix, it's all
Living Social: I got a groupon from Miami and almost got tricked. The description was way off for that the deal they were offering. I found groupon reviews that several people had the same issue. Luckily Groupon honor a refund, but my time was wasted.
