Idasuki mase: The problems is lack of feedback, which just sucks in fast paced games like
Mega man X and Zelda, so it's only really geared to RPGs.
Utsav Basu: Yes.
JudahBuddha: coolrom.com and save them to your skydrive, also check out vNES!
i900frenchaddict: Well, finally Windows Phone can do what was already possible on Windows
Mobile in 2008? ;D Windows Phone is a good OS, smooth and fast, but it's
definitly years under Android (and iOS?) as far as emulation is concerned.
Microsoft decided to make emulation on WP really hard when it was so easy
on Windows Mobile. Shame on MS for this.
Eetu Laakso: oh yeah
khushal bhadra: Thanks for the link
Max Hamilton: does it work offline
Marvin P.: No, single core should be fine with things such as this. Even the DS can
emulate SNES, and the PSP can emulate it even better. My HD2 is a single
core and can run SNES perfectly fine. There should be no reason why WP7
can't, other than being too locked down.
klauszik: You suck at Mario, but the Emulator looks really nice. I will definitely
get it for my Lumia
SimonX243: Sucks that I am unable to download the app because I have Windows phone 7.5
Srv Godara: can you send me roms. My id is email@example.com My downloaded roms dont
work on emulator.. they shows a blank screen.
rjsec4ever: An emulator has always sucked on a touch screen. I need physical buttons.
khushal bhadra: where to find the Roms. Any website you recommend. I am looking for the
classic old super mario?
Todd Scanlan: omg this is the most amazing app ever
Oussama Ait Salah: Good news just wondering bout tha ABXY buttons wich will cover some rpg
a3ads: the only thing its missing is haptic feedback so you know when u pressed a
Julio Puga: @benjamenee136 I can email you the unzipped files if you want?
JeunoTheHallowed: I looked for this ap on MS store, but it's been taken down. :( Any other
way of getting it?
JeunoTheHallowed: or any SNES emulators that will work for Win8 Phone?
SixSixSevenSeven: its nothing to do with core count. Windows phone 7 apps run in an
interpreted version of the .net virtual machine and only get XNA graphics
wrapper for directx. Basically they are slow. Windows phone 8 supports
native code and raw directX graphics, much faster.
C4LC1SS plays games! OMG: @callumkingunderwood U dont Know crap About WP7! They of course Support
native Code and RAW DirectX if u Know how to do it!!! Dumbass...
TheToastyWaffles: You can use a program called WinRar to unzip the files. That's what most
people do to unzip their roms on a PC.
Huevobatid0: Dude you don't a computer... There is another app called archived that will
unzip files on your phone and it works with roms too
N3PatHYA: i downloaded SNES8X but i didnt get the idea from where i download super
mario and mortal combat?
German Almaraz: the roms has not be zipped ;)
Danny Partida: Dude everytime I download from coolrom I download the file it says tap to
unzip what am I doing wrong ????
a70r: does tetris work :D?
ropen81: Try this one coolrom.com/roms/snes/
Damn Humam: windows phone is very GOOD
Cameron Stuckey: yes it dose same with nearly everything eles can get for your phone?
jerrel2811: I can't sign in sky drive, i have a nokia lumia 620, can somebody help me?
ej86: make sense not having this on windows 7.5, single core we get the 8-bit nes
emulator and WP8 has the dual core so they get the 16-bit emulators.
Gordon Cork: Whyis the sound so laggy and sounds static i have nokia lumia
rajifusama: how to get .smc games?
TheOutlaw254: i go to coolroms to download them but it only let me do like two, all the
other ones are zippes and idk how to unzip them? i really want to pkay
super Mario world. i have the lumia 920, can someone message me and help me
Eetu Laakso: Are the games free
JudahBuddha: I just wish it was in with my games and not as an app
Frankie Swerve: i hate the controls
Bruno Oliveira: baixei o snes8x mas não consigo botar os jogos me ajudem ai
coopyrightz: do they have a PC engine emulator???
wafflcoptr: It's up now
Mustafa Burhani: what are the other emulators for windows phone 8 ?
TekReview's: Yeah, you could connect a NES style controller to it via something like
bluetooth, if the software works with it as well. I've seen PS3 controllers
synced with android phones playing PS games.
benjamenee136: ok I cant figure out how to download the roms. I have a nokia Lumia 920.
went to coolrom.com and downloaded the rom I wanted but then a zipped
folder comes up saying tap to open but nothing happens. i saw someone said
the fescant be zipped, but every game I try the file is zipped. can someone
ease help me figure out how to do this? thanks
C4LC1SS plays games! OMG: Will this also work for Windows Phone 7.8??
ko mas: is there anything similar for 7.5?
JudahBuddha: Okay, so I got my ROMs from coolrom.com, saved them to my skydrive, signed
in through snes8x, selected my folder with all the snes files and nothing.
Nothing shows up, like the file is empty. My SkyDrive is synced! I don't
know what to do. I really want to play Kirby! Any ideas? Thanks
Matt Henderson: I was having the same problem. Snes8x doesn't automatically unzip the rom
files like some emulators do so you have to unzip them yourself before
uploading them to the skydrive. I used a program called jzip to upzip the
files. Have fun playing Kirby!
TheJaceMaster: This is awesome. I have one on my Surface RT and it runs pretty good except
the FPS is a bit slow at times. But it's compatible with a controller and
for me that's a deal breaker!
