Issa Toure: Hello Lucidmike78, I just have a Galaxy Note II, but it doesn't have this
function. When i hold the back button it doesn't work. Is there any
nomnomguy680: i have the Verizon version and it indeed doesn't come with these apps. my
friend has the International\ version and it has alot more
Ken Ijichi: did they fix this bug yet? I just got note 2 for verizon ;( do you think
they will be fixing it?
snicklo: pre installed only
The Daily Note.Net: A small number of apps will get itself in there when you install them from
Google Play. Such as twitter. Try installing and uninstalling that app to
see it happen. Unless you are on Verizon. Verizon phone has a bug where it
can't do this. Hopefully it will be fixed in the future.
gene978: And Verizon USA version LOVE IT MATE!
T3XASL0WL1F3: Can I do it on att
The Daily Note.Net: Not yet. I am confident they will have it one day. Sprint, T-Mobile, and
Verizon have it now. It's just a matter of time. But yeah, AT&T...they need
to get their act together.
The Daily Note.Net: 3rd party apps can add support. There are a few apps on the market that
seem to support feature. A notable one is called Kakao Talk. It just
automatically pops up on that list.
LisaMarie: I just got my tmobile galaxy note 2 and this feature doesn't work for me.
brounsville699: I didnt even know that was possible. thank you for this Mike. :D
The Daily Note.Net: It does not work with all the apps. It works with apps that are written for
split screen use. For example, Kakao Talk is a 3rd party app that I
downloaded, but it can be split screened and it was added to this list
automatically. All the other apps in that list so far are apps that came
with the phone written by Google and Samsung. This probably means more and
more apps will support it in the future.
babylayzee: Thanks!! That sucks but I guess I'm just gonna have to wait
mikeph4: go to teamuscellular bro! we'll help you get it :P
celticsnation69: Just got my update this morning :)
The Daily Note.Net: They need to push out the update. Unfortunately I don't know when they'll
make it available, but my guess is that they've been squatting on it for
more than a month now.
magicks25: Hello, I would just like to ask, I saw on My flipboard in My galaxy SIII
that they will release the update that will make the SIII do split screen.
Is this true? :) Thank you. :)
1alopezpr: thanks for reply
gene978: THANK YOU SO MUCH! I just got my VERIZON version Yesterday after waiting
months and months for it to come out. I am thrilled found your tutorial
YouTube site for the Galaxy Note II. I haven't had time yet to sit and
play. After 4 versions of IPHONE and not happy over all with IPhone 5 at
only 4" and not much else I said time to find more value. I've used Android
and Am very familiar. Look forward to all of your videos and 5 STARS THUMBS
Jose Ortega: will this feature be coming to the galaxy note 2 for att because mines does
not do it
The Daily Note.Net: Sounds like you got a Verizon Note 2. They messed up the multitasking list.
They forgot Facebook, YouTube, Maps in that list. And you cannot add it in
there for now. Hopefully they give you an update soon.
jdtactical84: thanks. good to know
The Daily Note.Net: That is the rumor. I haven't seen a video on it yet, but maybe I haven't
been looking hard enough.
Rafael Robledo: hey mike i just got my GN2 yesterday from Tmobile and i dont think it has
it. any help?
Bomber Rueckl: My US Cellular Note 2 does not have this feature.
shellygee516: Thanks for sharing :)
brounsville699: exactly my feeling. I love this phone.
The Daily Note.Net: Verizon has removed apps like Gmail, facebook, and Google Maps. Why, I'm
not sure. They have also locked the ability for supported apps to get in
there. For example, if you install Twitter, you should get twitter showing
up in the application list. Unfortunately that doesn't happen.
Dani Siem: Is it available yet ?? i Just got a Note 2 from At&t and it doesnt have
that function. What steps do I have to follow. Thanks
lockoshamface: Any tips for using twitter and a browser so that when you click a twitter
link it just opens on tge browser without going to full screen on the
browser? Was let down when couldn't get that to work
The Daily Note.Net: You'll have it soon enough. I personally prefer AT&T overall for their
price (especially family plans) and coverage.
anthony demarnello: is there a way to add app to that split screen slide out? I cant seem to
figure out how you have so many to choose from on yours? i've tried the
drag and drop into it, but doesnt work
babylayzee: How do you customize the split screen tab? ? I can't seem to add Facebook
or YouTube to that tab
The Daily Note.Net: Yes. Sprint just got an update yesterday. No announcements yet, but I image
it will be included in an update soon.
ProteanView: That's impressive. My friend is showing off his panoramic photography on
his iPhone 5. My old GS2 can do that. You'd never know because Sammie
simply doesn't market all their phones can do. This is a real selling point
to me. You'd think they'd be advertising the hell out of it.
Vishnu S Kurup: thanks a lot...:)
1USteel: Is that work with all apps or only with pre installed?
ConceptVBS: The latest updated firmware international version have this feature. I'm
sure they will update the phone with this feature.
magicks25: They already have an ad for it uploaded by samsung.. Look it up. :) Lemme
know what you think in line with the new features that the premium update
offers.. ___ You're really good by the way.. :)
jahzroc: I have a Sprint galaxy note 2 and it doesn't do this Yet
The Daily Note.Net: Hold the back button. If the tab doesn't come out, you need an update. It
should be available soon enough from your carrier. Check for updates to
your device and Kies once every few days.
Greg Hamel: I have Verizon too. You show using Gmail. Does this thread mean that I
can't add Gmail or anything else to the split screen mode yet?
The Daily Note.Net: Just hold the back button and the thumb tab will go away.
The Daily Note.Net: Thanks! I think 4.8" for the S3 is a bit small for split screen, but I'm
sure people will love the feature regardless. I thought they'd save the
multiscreen for the S4, since that phone is 4 months away. But maybe they
have enough amazing features that they can afford to put multiscreen on the
S3. Page buddy for headphones...is ok if someone listens to music from a
variety of apps. Pandora, Tunein, Google Music, Poweramp, Audible. But if
you only use one, then it isn't that necessary.
960aziz: i know right lol
The Daily Note.Net: I'm sure it will soon with an update.
Nazia Hussain: Finally learnt how to do this
myst3que Mobile Road Warriors: This is great!
