DareToBeDeviant: I supposed reverse mounting subs is a personal, maybe aesthetic (to some)
decision? Audibly no difference as compared to traditional way but I'm just
looking for an actual reason. I'm about to do an install on my cousin's
first car and we see both, he asked "what's the point?" I can't answer that
and need a few pointers from someone here. >.>
goodybwoy2013: Hey I got a question I have 2 15inch 1500w subs and I have a 1500w mono
Class ab amp that puts out either 250rms at 4 ohms or 1500w for each
speaker at 2 ohms my question is which way should I wire the speakers to
either the 4 ohms at 250 rms or the 1500w at 2ohms for each speaker
John Rodriguez: I have 2 four dual audiopipe 12s how do i connect them to my 1500 watt
class d audiopipe amp?
motivation_is_everything: I have a Hifonics Brx1100.1d monoblock. It had 2 inputs and 2 outputs. It
had an input L and Input R / Output L and Output R.... Which should I use
to plug my rca cables In?
Chevy Money: i got a 500/1 JL audio monoblock amp with 4 outputs and 2 12 DVC's how
should i wire this properly... im like you never had a monoblock
imortaliz: hi i just bought myself a kicker dxa 1500.1 mono amp, and i was thinking
can i run two fosgate p3d4 12" subs at 2 ohms, the amp delivers 1500wrms at
2 ohms and the subwoofers can take 600wrms ?
antonio starks: I have a Rockford Fosgate1500 is it compatible with 2 1600 watt audiopipes
drummer261: hey i blow 3 pioneer 12s they were 1200 watt max they were 400 watt nom
power would i be ok runing 3 alpine type r running off a bd 1000
one channel amp this amp i got is old school
xXdisturbed182Xx: Hey man hopefully you could answer my question. I just bought two alpine
type SWS-12D4 dual voice coil subs and this is my dilemma. They are both 4
ohm subs and i want to know if it would be possible to wire them at 2 ohms
into my 1200 watt class d mono block amp. My amp is stable at 2 ohms and i
know it would sound the best there but from all the research ive done i
cant find an answer. it seems as if i can only get them to go to either 4
ohms or 1 ohm and my amp cant handle 1. with them being DVC subs i am not
sure if it is even possible. Thanks for your time
MrEscort351: positive wire from amp goes to first positive terminal of the sub the
negative terminal should have a wire that runs over to the positve terminal
of the second sub and then a wire comes off the negative terminal from the
second sub and runs back to the amp. bridged @ 2OHMS hope that helps ya
ppl. if ya unsure how many ohms ya sub is test with multi meter positive
and negative should be around 4 or 2 ohms. then work out what impeadence ya
amp will run at
pascha wyant fassihi: Is there anyway to hook up 2 daul 4 ohm voice coil subs to 2 ohms? Would
really appreciate the feedback!
So Deleveche: african americana u tryin 2 bust my ears...... lol...... I want that sound......
freakin sick. props
kaosinlondon: does a monoblock amp see a 2ohm load as a 1 ohm because its on channel or
doesnt it effect the ohms and stays at 2ohms.
Margaret Foley: You should have reversed the polarity going to the woofers because they are
xthisIsstupidx: when hooking up two subs from to an mono block amp, how many watts do each
sub get? does it split the wattage in half is what i'm asking.
Britt Jones: Hey I've got two 10inch subs (400W each), which I was hoping to run off my
two channel amp, but it's a 600W. I've also got a 800W mono block amp which
I was thinking of running 2 6x9s off... What would be the best way to run
pussy taste good: Hw to wire 2 orion hcca 15 4ohm sub to soundstream xxx10000d amp to get max
power out of amp?
Joseph Swift: heres a question, you may have to do a little bit of research maybe to help
me out here. I have a DC Audio Level 4 15 inch sub with a 1.2k DC Audio amp
(both can be seen spec wise at www.dcsoundlab.com). I want to know if I can
throw my kicker 12 inch L7 into that mix or do I need to run a separate
derren gould: Hi i get the 2 ohm bit.im just wondering i have a sony xmds1600p5 1x500
rms4ohm or 1 x900 rms 2 ohm.but it has 2 channels?its a 1 channel
operation. Class d.should i be puting my wires on 1 chanell or bridge on
Cody Kelley: How come you got your subs on the the out side of the box... does it hit
Derrick Allard: More than likely you "wired them in parallel" at 1 ohm.
Trendy Bromando: this guys tight
Cars4lives: i get noise coming out of my speakers when using my breaks. it also comes
on when i use the turn signals. also when i turn the lights on but its not
as loud. i had the alternating whining noise but i got it fixed by
grounding my amp to the chassis of the car and not to the battery how it
was when i got it. Any ideas?
alex rose: looks like you had the setup fine in the first place, the 2 monoblocks i've
had have both had 2 sets of terminals for wiring in parallel, running 2
sets of wires into 1 terminal works fine as long as it fits haha. only
wrong way i can imagine to wire multiple subs is to do them out of phase to
James Westerfield: Thanks a lot bro.im fixing to wire up two svc 4ohm kicker comps to a mono
punch 300-1,, i haven't hooked up a system in about 13 years.my last system
was the first kicker L7 15"round sub,and old school punch 100 bridged.i
miss that crap...
Derrick Allard: Its impossible to wire two 4 ohm subs to 2 ohms if there DVC, not sure
about SVC. You can only get to 4 ohm and 1 ohm.
John Hall: Why inverted?
Underconstruction: I have a set of speakers that r 2600 watts a peace and I have a two amps
one is a jl audio e1800d and the other is a boss 4800 class d amp. Which
amp should I use and at what ohm
mc_killer-4: Hey man I got 3 12's 3 amps and 2 battery capacitors and I don't know if
they're hooked up right I bought it from someone and they were already
hooked up but I want to make sure they are hooked up right before I put
them in and accidentally blow them
Austin Welch: Hey man I have 2 jl 10 inch subs with an mb quart monoblock amp and an
alpine deck, and it is hooked up to my car battery by 1 cord on the
positive side. All the wires are set up fine. Right after i hooked
everything up it was working for 5 minutes then stopped. When I play music
the subs dont work and the light on my amp doesnt stay fully on it flashes
on and off slowly like its losing connection, at first I thought it was the
remote turn on wire but i fixed that, im wondering what else I could try to
get them working again
hotsauce3110: When you have a daul voice coil 4 ohm sub you will have two terminals on
each side ..run positive to positive and negative to negative. Which will
make it two ohms.. do the same to other sub..and then wire them together
with a positive and negative wire.. then when you wire them to the amp you
should only have two wire running to your amp.. which will put you at a 1
Austin Bair: 1500.1bd RF amp on 2 15' RE SRx in a dual superbox pro box.. how will it
casperskafs: Even uglier now
Telexic: Make a video on how to wire two dual 2ohm subs to 1ohm on the amp. If it's
impossible oh well.
will i am Blacwella: It does't matter to the amp where you terminate the wire.
casperskafs: Check out rockford wiring wizard it will explain better
Joe Weber: I got 2 amps 1 boss and another called vr3 the vr3 not workin but my subs r
2 10" memphis car audio power reference those r hooked up 2 the boss amp
the other amp im gunna hook up a 15" rockford fosgate punchz
Steven Gillmeister: Hey my man I got 2 12"roxkford fosgate r2's duel 4ohms they bump but im
looking for some more power like this video how many watts is that app and
those woofers, that crap bumped how do I get them to push as hard as yours
casperskafs: One that will do 600 watts at 2 ohms
Douglas Czuczman: the way u changed it to means sub 1 is parallel with sub 2 from the amp,
essentially its the same circuit as both subs connected into the same
connection on the amp, because electricity from the neg terminal at the amp
can go straight to sub 1 and straight to sub 2 and electricity from the
sub's positive can go straight back to the amp from either sub, im not too
sure what the previous setup was but im pretty sure it was a parallel too
so either would run the same
casperskafs: Prolly pretty bad ass bro
MAC TAV: I have 2 15's both 3000watts I been tryna hook dem up to a 2000watt mono
block crunch amp at 2ohms but it keeps shuttin down and doesn't hit that
hard as it should I need sum answers
casperskafs: Yea it will be fine
Michael Dotson: Can I wire 2 4 ohm dual voice coil to 2 ohms on a monoblock amp?
Jorge Estrada: will do. thanks man
Marshall Witmer: Hey, I've got two kenwood subs, I can't think of what they are off hand but
there blue plastic on the outside. And I have them hooked up but you can
here like the plastic rattling when the base gets deep. Do you have any
ideas or tips how to fix it. Maybe I have them hooked up wrong or they're
getting too much power from the amp. Idlk that's why I'm asking. Oh yeah
they're 12 in subs
jason salmon: alright would you rather do what you did in this video or would you rather
have a 2 or 4 channel amp. or are they basically the same?
casperskafs: I doubt it on a fusion amp. Its prolly a 2 channel. Their are monoblock out
there that have terminals like that for easier wiring but its usually the
more expensive ones
dip2live: whats the best amp to put on 2 power bass 10s and 2 memphis 12s all 4 are
dual 4 ohm?
casperskafs: All up to you bro. I'm guessin your lookin for a decent budget amp. I'd say
an audiopipe 1500 but thats just my opinion right now
