Austin Welch: Hey man I have 2 jl 10 inch subs with an mb quart monoblock amp and an
alpine deck, and it is hooked up to my car battery by 1 cord on the
positive side. All the wires are set up fine. Right after i hooked
everything up it was working for 5 minutes then stopped. When I play music
the subs dont work and the light on my amp doesnt stay fully on it flashes
on and off slowly like its losing connection, at first I thought it was the
remote turn on wire but i fixed that, im wondering what else I could try to
get them working again
alex rose: looks like you had the setup fine in the first place, the 2 monoblocks i've
had have both had 2 sets of terminals for wiring in parallel, running 2
sets of wires into 1 terminal works fine as long as it fits haha. only
wrong way i can imagine to wire multiple subs is to do them out of phase to
mc_killer-4: Hey man I got 3 12's 3 amps and 2 battery capacitors and I don't know if
they're hooked up right I bought it from someone and they were already
hooked up but I want to make sure they are hooked up right before I put
them in and accidentally blow them
hotsauce3110: When you have a daul voice coil 4 ohm sub you will have two terminals on
each side ..run positive to positive and negative to negative. Which will
make it two ohms.. do the same to other sub..and then wire them together
with a positive and negative wire.. then when you wire them to the amp you
should only have two wire running to your amp.. which will put you at a 1
Underconstruction: I have a set of speakers that r 2600 watts a peace and I have a two amps
one is a jl audio e1800d and the other is a boss 4800 class d amp. Which
amp should I use and at what ohm
Austin Bair: 1500.1bd RF amp on 2 15' RE SRx in a dual superbox pro box.. how will it
casperskafs: Even uglier now
Telexic: Make a video on how to wire two dual 2ohm subs to 1ohm on the amp. If it's
impossible oh well.
william Blackwell: It does't matter to the amp where you terminate the wire.
casperskafs: Check out rockford wiring wizard it will explain better
Joe Weber: I got 2 amps 1 boss and another called vr3 the vr3 not workin but my subs r
2 10" memphis car audio power reference those r hooked up 2 the boss amp
the other amp im gunna hook up a 15" rockford fosgate punchz
Steven Gillmeister: Hey my man I got 2 12"roxkford fosgate r2's duel 4ohms they bump but im
looking for some more power like this video how many watts is that app and
those woofers, that crap bumped how do I get them to push as hard as yours
casperskafs: One that will do 600 watts at 2 ohms
Douglas Czuczman: the way u changed it to means sub 1 is parallel with sub 2 from the amp,
essentially its the same circuit as both subs connected into the same
connection on the amp, because electricity from the neg terminal at the amp
can go straight to sub 1 and straight to sub 2 and electricity from the
sub's positive can go straight back to the amp from either sub, im not too
sure what the previous setup was but im pretty sure it was a parallel too
so either would run the same
casperskafs: Prolly pretty bad ass bro
MAC TAV: I have 2 15's both 3000watts I been tryna hook dem up to a 2000watt mono
block crunch amp at 2ohms but it keeps shuttin down and doesn't hit that
hard as it should I need sum answers
casperskafs: Yea it will be fine
Michael Dotson: Can I wire 2 4 ohm dual voice coil to 2 ohms on a monoblock amp?
Jorge Estrada: will do. thanks man
Marshall Witmer: Hey, I've got two kenwood subs, I can't think of what they are off hand but
there blue plastic on the outside. And I have them hooked up but you can
here like the plastic rattling when the base gets deep. Do you have any
ideas or tips how to fix it. Maybe I have them hooked up wrong or they're
getting too much power from the amp. Idlk that's why I'm asking. Oh yeah
they're 12 in subs
jason salmon: alright would you rather do what you did in this video or would you rather
have a 2 or 4 channel amp. or are they basically the same?
casperskafs: I doubt it on a fusion amp. Its prolly a 2 channel. Their are monoblock out
there that have terminals like that for easier wiring but its usually the
more expensive ones
dip2live: whats the best amp to put on 2 power bass 10s and 2 memphis 12s all 4 are
dual 4 ohm?
casperskafs: All up to you bro. I'm guessin your lookin for a decent budget amp. I'd say
an audiopipe 1500 but thats just my opinion right now
casperskafs: Then you can only do 1 or 4 ohm no matter what amp ya got
casperskafs: You can run 100000000 speakers on any amp just gotta wire them correctly.
Check out rockford wiring wizard for easy pics and stuff to show you how to
wire. I could explain but that will make it more simple for you
casperskafs: I just did it for fun. Alot of people do it because their box is to small
like in big walls
tyler davis: ur vids just awsered my question for the most part still lil confussed but
rowlanddb: hells ya buddy welcome back we missed ya
Ricardo Marquez: So im new to this whole car audio thing. I have 2 10"kickerc10 subs, and i
dont know if i should get a "Kicker DX300.2 (11DX300.2) 300W 2-Channel DX
Class D Power Car Amplifier/Amp or a "Kicker 12CX3001 CX300.1 CX 300 Watt
RMS Mono Car Audio Class D Amplifier/Amp" ? wondering what you would do?
FNZNTWK: Clear and simple, getting my first subs soon. This will help lots, thanks!
Douglas Czuczman: imagining electrons are like water made this stuff easier for me to
understand, the water has 2 hoses to travel in halving the restriction so
twice the water can flow
lalo g: How much did you pay for the Kenwood the blue one
N RIPPY: I have 4 dual voice coil 4 ohm Kicker CVX's and I have 2 Kicker ZX2500.1's
I need to know how to get both amps wired at a 2 ohm load so im not running
them hot at 1 ohm please help as fast as possible PLEASE nobody will help
casperskafs: Sure can. I actually had an L7 hooked to an autotek amp once
ethanhoffmanfootball: I've got a kicker 15" l7 1000 watt sub and a 1200 watt kicker kx 1200.1. Is
that going to match up right? I haven't installed yet.
iinnkkkyyyy: whats the squeaking? sounds like the sub boxes have a air leak
Chris Lamdry: well you will only need a mono
MazdaBass971: Since your sub is rated for 1500rms a 2000watt class D mono amp that can
push at least 1400rms will run your sub just fine, don't cheap out on the
amp though, some brands say 2000watts 4000watts but don't put out the rms
power it says it does, spend the money and get a amp that for sure can push
the desired rms power.
casperskafs: A 1000 watt amp that will handle 1 ohm.
Itz Nator: he did go cry and cut himself. ya gotta love haters giving you views =)
Matt Nelson: Yea but I seen quite a few upside down n I think its louder with a sealed
box instead of a ported I got 2-4ohm c15's in a 40" ported box, single
voicecoil I just run one speaker to the other and into the amp from there,
that makes it 2ohm now right?
casperskafs: Need wayyyy more info bro. What equipment you got?
casperskafs: LOL weird man
casperskafs: You can't. Only 2 ohms or half. Look up rockford wiring wizard bro
choppa gunna: thanks man that really help im kind new to this but ill try it out thanks
AustinThePartyHardy: Hey casperskafs. Do you have a video that shows how to install a on and off
'switch' for subs?
powerpunchhx2: grow up man.if you don't like what he douse then move on no one asked you
for the neg comments......
Frankie Placencia: I have 2x 12' kickers...what should I use to push those out...in side the
car I have ...2x 6x9& 4 highs...should I add the 6.5 door speakers.
..should I add 2 way speakers or just a sub? Thank
FordGuy25: Nice video man. I just purchased a 2010 Fusion with a 12 speaker sony audio
system. I have a 12" JL Audio sub going in a ported box and a 500/1 mono JL
Audio block. My nightmare is gonna be bypassing the DSP and using a 600/6
amp for speakers in the doors and the two in the rear deck. The instrument
panel speaker in the dash and rear deck are gonna run off the stock amp. Im
using Kenwood Excelons x683c's and x183c for the rear deck.
