Howard Atkinson: Can it support heavy duty Pick up Trucks with 8,000 lbs axles? I guess
Howard Atkinson: I am a mobile auto repair mechanic. I can use the bradock 5 series
portable lift. Beats working on my back.
Howard Atkinson: good portable lift. there is a lot of underneath repair you can't do with a
scissor lift obstructing the mechanic
cityglush ru: perfect))
Sidney Mathious: That is nice and it would have me feeling better if it had arms to lock
rest on the floor in case the hydraulics went out while up in the air.
Winjury: website at the end of the video doesn't work, company seems to not exist
anymore...moving on to next video
sam jan: Check out this video on YouTube:
PussMag: for that car, you can use 2 3-ton Jacks and 5-ton Stands, solved,,cheap too
NGEServicesltd: @pater429 You can wind the screwpads upto the max, or use the extension
blocks provided. This gives you enough clearance to remove the exhaust.
niceprince: I'm actually not shade tree >.> I went to a 2 year college for Automotive
hellcat1988: I want this lift!!! I've been working on cars since I was old enough to
pull myself up the grill, but I've never used a lift. I do alot of brake
and suspension work for friends/family, and this would make it SO much
easier. The only thing I'd be worried about is the support for the lift.
How much pressure does it exert on each corner and what is it's lifting
capacity? These are things that a person who would NEED a portable lift
needs to know. Could I use it in a field with support pads?
penske13: glad to hear that. i'd hate to hear about you being killed. :)
gasolineintheblood23: i would buy two at half price because it would take two to make a real hoist
Duckyistrippin: i wish they made this design, but a 2 post unit so you could service the
center of the car. The raised part on the floor is not an issue, but the
horizontal cross in the middle of the chassis is a deal breaker.
Rowan Cook: I own a lift like this - mounted solid - with 2 lifting carriages - left
and right. Used it for 7 years - No slip, No error. Nothing to regret.
Simply adjust the lift contact point with appropriate adjustments - like
the screw contact this one has. I often used 6'6 or 4x4 blocks on difficult
vehicles - like Ford trucks with dog leg style frames. I still have it
today. Might be up for sale to someone who might want a twinn lift. Can be
used as a single hoist call 304 581-4051 R.Cook
kelvin stowerd: wow
Tatoke kokipa: looks good, but how do we get the exaust of?
fastermastercar50: I had a version of that kind of lift, I can't recall who made it, a friend
gave it to me to use. That thing sat using up room for years, I didn't
trust it. There's isn't enough base, it would be too damn easy to flip it
and a car off it. I got one rockin one time and scared the living crap out
penske13: if you knew how dangerous the ole reliable block stack was you'd crap
esqueue: Why is that relevant?
John GTR: how do you take the gear box out on a rear wheel drive vehicle? lol
Brian Thomas: the practical use would be for boarder inspection and the sort. Use as a
maintinace tool would be a pain in the ass.
Fritz Madness: Hi, does it use regular house power?
HellzNord: Have fun when that thing tips over lol
Sa3ood: for 15$ dollar only who need ?? :P
Daniel Hammond: Well i like it but your link doesn't work, so how i can i know the cost?
I'm not calling you btw, wtf still does that anyways..
James Daly: how much?
sa623: useless lift , ..
niceprince: We used real lifts man..
attitudewithoutacause: It looks portable to me.
p2thumper07: @rodman23t then don't buy it... rodman huh? you like man rod eh?
JDMgram: i went to a garage they that two of them but its so crap i cant describe
it!!!!!! my car is 70mm lowered and i couldn't drive up it without damaging
my bumper!!!!! when i finally got on my whole exhaust b section was
scratched!!!!!!! when they lifted the car the whole thing was shaking like
hell i thought my car will fell off (3 door civic) when the mechanic tried
to louse a stuck nut...
kubotaman85: why would you put a video on here without sound?
StumpyHead79: how much?
aluriilol: scary as all hell but the feet seem right and it lifts fast. definitely
would get if i didnt have a maxjax already
gianluca ingaliso: una bella idea
posernotricer: so what's the maximum weight it can lift?
MonsterLilly: you could not pay me to stand under that, there's a reason that most hoists
are 2/4 post, single post is good for freak all other than dropping cars on
Vlad Duhast: American spotted
penske13: if you use blocks to lift a vehicle you wasted your money in school.
PonyPower71: Not sure I would trust that thing. And those screw pads seem a bit small.
mhaddadi: Try this link pkslifts.com
turtlezed: i know exactly what you mean, our boss bought 4 of the full size hgv ones
to lift trucks 6 foot in the air and i'm fec#in glad he never got them to
work cos they scared the crap outta me too.
rodman23t: sweet. now bring it to my place and put my diesel crewcab on it and WHEN it
folds up your buying me a brand new truck. what a pile of junk.
