R. Michael Pitman: Nice boat engine. Where is the Baby Life Jacket? Thats what counts. Mom too.
bumfuzzle: Life jacket? On a 7-month old baby in her mother's arms while tied to a
dock? We live on our boat—there is safety and there is reality.
boat6868: You must have been just ecstatic when that engine turned over and ran to
smoothly. It sounds good.
philnessnz: Hi Would you mind telling me the fuel consumption per hour at at cruise and
also the RPM you cruise at thanks Philip
bumfuzzle: I actually haven't figured it out yet as we haven't been cruising yet.
We're sailing/motoring to Mexico this month so will figure out the numbers
DrTarpon1974: Thanks for sharing. I love look and the sound of Lehman diesels--super
reliable and relatively easy to work on.
Kellin Gilbertson-Burnett: 2 stroke detroit, or 12 valve cummins... but. i do like the lehman. ran
them in a few work boats we got from the canadian navy. boat weighed 3
tons, could tow 14 behind. and run 2100rpm all day without over heating on
a freshwater cooling system 2 stroke detroits will run forever. just add
oil, fuel and keep them somewhat cool. and a 12 valve will last forever
under extreme conditions.
