answer your question I do believe that it is a stainless bolt and I do
believe it could be a older rifle . I have not done any research on it yet.

paul miller: The best way to find out the year the rifle was made is to use the first 2
numbers of the SN and use them to subtract from 100. For example:
2378999.... 100-23=77. So for that the rifle was made in 1977
