half of my laptop keyboard! I'm so glad that Apple manufactures the
keyboard so tightly so it won't short out so easily. Once you explained
how to take the keys off I figured it out from there. Keys still aren't
perfect but they aren't sticky anymore!

last night and this morning 4 of them were sticking and clicking. I was
terrified of pulling the keys off since they just didn't pop off easily on
the first try like PC's normally do. You just saved me an expensive trip to
the Apple Store!

maple syrup on my keyboard, including the space bar, and I was able to get
it fixed. By the way for other viewers, I highly recommend using strong
reading glasses & good lighting for this work. Also a plastic "spudger" to
pry off the keys (you can get them at iFixit). I also used damp cotton
swabs and an old toothbrush - carefully -to help clean the parts and

papers. i didn't know it and i had put paperwork in the bag i carry my ipad
& my macbook in. now both smell of mildew. i was thinking of using
denatured alcohol to kill it. any ideas would be appreciatd. ive had
