bowhuntingallday: Is this for boat fishing or surf
DonnyDuck88: How deep is this rig targeted for?
bowhuntingallday: This video helped a lot
watermeats: You mentioned you're not sure what that knot is called, its called the
"improved clinch knot". On lighter line you'd use like 5 or 6 wraps. Never
used the "looper knot", tks for the demo. :)
pumpkin28ful: whats the biggest fish you caught on this rig?
northeastanglers: @duchy1957 Thanks Tom For watching... Fish On!!!
Derek Wilson: Good stuff bro!! VERY helpful for this fairly new saltwater fisherman.
jake bnolby: Cape cod canal and upper buzzards bay in the morning. you can never beat
that top water action.
penguinshamrock777: how good is this rig?
DRUMNDAD123: great video .. palomar knot would be a good video too add, I'm having a
hell of a time on the final cinch, I keep breaking ling when I tighten it
down it appears to be overlapping it self, please help.
Tommy Watson: Or u could spend a couple dollars on surf leaders
BenMed978: Thank you so much for the video! For such an important concept, it's
brushed over a lot in other videos, but you clearly explained everything in
under 7 mins! Thanks again!
northeastanglers: @firefighter2v The Title Is Striped bass hi-lo lol!!!
northeastanglers: OMG Bunker there is ton out in Keyport!! Thats where we fish out of!!! Big
hint Look near the buoys!!
firefighter2v: What fish does it catch???
northeastanglers: @BenMed978 Thanks A lot for the comment. Fish On!!!! Mike
bdrizzle1989: Im a pretty serious fluke fisherman, and I tend to fish out in shinnerooster
bay and out of the inlet in the ocean. On off days, when the pops is at
work I would like to try surf casting off the ocean beaches for some
stripers. What are your suggestions as far as rigs, line test, how far to
cast out, etc? I have never fished specifically for them, but I have picked
up two of them while fluking. Feel free to inbox me or respond here, either
way you will be of great help! thanks in advance buddy.
northeastanglers: ?? Dropper loop was just fine. Or did you make it small?
gmt2183: Awesome video! Quick question though, would this also be the appropriate
way to rig if I'm using squid/mackarel as bait? If not, could you recommend
the appropriate way? Thanks!
tanya buglioli: Great videos. I just moved my boat up here from south jersey to Keyport. So
im trying to find out some good striper spots. I havent done much bay
fishing . Im not gonna lie im gonna miss snagging those bunker . lol Any
suggestions would be grately appreciated . thank you and good luck
northeastanglers: @watermeats It funny you said that about the Clinch Knot. I knew what is
was but forgot lol. I did not want to start over LOL... Thanks for
watching. We are posting new video up tomorrow so stay tune. FISH ON!!!!
pelon lemus: very good !! i have spend lots of money on this kind of hi lo ring hooks
for black sea bass for the past 5 years. it toke me like 15 mnts to get it
but i doing good now. thanks for the video
watermeats: @northeastanglers happens to me all the time. too many wacky knot names
floating around in the head, lol headin` over to check out the new vid now.
we posted a new one today as well, biggest bass i've hooked yet ;D
georgemorshu: Clams or bunker or eels
darik walker: wat should u put on the hooks
Michael Cammarata: I know its 8 months later you can get them in a hardware shop.
duchy1957: thanks well done. tom from down the shore
cynematek: hey man, the line cutter you have there, i used to have one but then lost
it, what is the exact name of it? I have been trying to buy a replacement
one everywhere but can't find it, thank you lol
northeastanglers: @bdrizzle1989 Well you want to cast your line over the sand dunes. when you
see a wave about to form that's where you want to cast your line. I use 7/0
fish finders. I also like what ever they are eating at that time. You can
ask your local bait shop what they are eating.
fishingmasterxy: which rig is better in your opinion for clam fishing for stripers from the
surf, hi lo or fishfinder?
Fred Formicola: the knots used to attach swivels are improved clinch knots, very easy to
tie and just about foolproof works for almost any attachments
paynee1010: oops dropper loop a little to small ha crap happens. great vid anyways
firefighter2v: Sorry guys about that lol
jvcantrell: great video, I havent used a hi-lo before. I did however love your sleight
of hand. we all oops it sometimes. keep making the vids buddy.
Vet: When I graduated High School, all I wanted to do was kick back and relax without having to do any homework. But I realized I have no money to do anything fun. So I went to a San Francisco Vet School to get trained to make money. But seeing your videos, I am gonna be an internet marketer on the side. Let me know if you have any tips. Thanks.
