How To Replace The Fuel Line On A Stihl 021 023 025 Chainsaw

What do you think about this video?

Skog Skoglund: You mounting it the wrong way..... the new have to be put into from outside - the correct way.

Richard Smith: I just changed the fuel filter which got my 021 running again.

Walls Bee Man: Lee, with your help I did mine but apparenhtly mine is a little older. I did not take the air filter off of the air filter housing. thanks again

Walls Bee Man: Sure glad I watched your vid. Another vid from someone else showed taking off the Carb and you did not. Big difference. thank you. Oh yeah, you know how to make an instructional vid and stay focused. I make Vids to help beekeepers. WallsBeeMan

hyelms: The fuel line is fitted upside down !

Ryan Green: what would make a ms 250 stihl chain saw rapp out when it is just idealing

Omar Mendoza: wouldn't recomend using a screwdriver on the air filter. they're brittle, it's safer and much easier to grab the ears on the sides and rock to the rear of the unit. also he put the fuel line in upside down..... it came out one way and it went in another. lol

Charles Mills: thanks for the info

Crocellian: My God.  That fuel had no oil.  It was dead man clear.  I hope that was just a demo.

Anthony Tilson: The fuel line is installed backward in this video!! Bogus installation because fuel line has to be installed from carb side NOT thru fuel tank.

morgan hill: didn't see any mix in the gas...gonna be doin a video on piston kit next...wow

Bob Mason: Lots of stress on the new fuel line by pinching with pliers and pulling up hard to get the plug set in the top of the tank, ESPECIAILLY if installed the right way (flat side up).  Instead, I pulled the carb (EZ), put a film of 2cycle oil on the plug, and fed the fuel line through the slot in the housing so that the plug rested on the hole in the tank with the flat side of the plug facing left.  Then positioned two flathead screwdrivers from behind, setting them flat on either side on top of the plug.  Pressing down and working the screwdrivers a little to set it, the plug popped in place in <1" AND the new fuel line wasn't "broken in" :)

RTOHIO: Can you do a video on replacing fuel tank on Stihl MS660. I have a broken handle, have parts, and could use some help. Thanks.

Dagwood Bumstead: With due respect, most people pull the old out and put the new in from the top of the tank, not through the tank itself.  That is the way the grommet is made to go.  And be careful using pliers on that soft hose.  Otherwise your video is helpful for those who do not know how.

linxmas: Thanks for the video. I started repairing my 023C on my own (backwards, as I always do). Got stuck. Found Your video, got the job done in 10 mins!
Thanks again.

Chris Stromberg: Thanks Lee for the info. Great Video!

Jay Gambrill: Good video. Thanks.

Kim Fledderjohann: You are right the fuel line in the video is backward......but i put mine in the way it came out ...so no big deal. Very good video

Shaye Evans: the line is installed upside down. An 025 is a direction fuel line that only 1 end will fit the fuel filter and the other will only fit the carb.

bigdadtrav: it does not work that easy, how many takes?

Schools: Learn how to get phlebotomy training in California! The job pays decent money for the amount of schools needed to graduate.
