George Georges: okay .okay.okay.okay. now very good
Justin Pate: Nice instruction video! It was very clear and simple. keep it up!
Performance Product Technologies: what kind of call do you guys like and use?
fitzwah82: Hi there, I don't suppose you know the best call to use for Australian
Magpie goose do you?
1800feetdown: @selling94 I am just learning but i have had a lot of success from watching
a Primos video and they suggested twitt or oock, i find oock is a little
easier for me. I have progressed really well in a short time, and believe
me, i aint the sharpest tool in the shed
Cody Stdphenson: What kind of call is that?
yookahbear: who whit
johan svensson: Where can i bye this pipe?
GundogsOnline.com: RNT makes great calls ... Kelly Powers helped design a goose call for them
and it sounds great.
wboarder135: what do you say into the call?
Dupie11: You don't blow with your cheeks. You will not get the sound you want. You
need to get your air from your stomach not your mouth. Tighten your tummy
muscles and say "hook" adjust your back pressure so that you are getting a
deep tone. You don't want to have all deep tones so it is okay to throw in
a higher cluck or a honk. Just remember to use your stomach muscles and not
your throat or mouth. I hope this comment helps you out.
1978z28: hey i just got a canada hammer II call and cant wait to wake up in the
mornin and blow it after watching this, just out of curiousity what call
are you blowing it sounds awesome...thanks for the video
Kade Purser: Keep Practicing
trent houtz: wow this video make it alot esier than the video tht came with my call..
thank u!!! and good luck to ya
fitzwah82: Hi there, i don't suppose you know the best call to use for Australian
Magpie goose do you?
mattrdr95: Trying to make this sound as least gay as possible but my friend was tryin
to teach me how to blow a goose call and every time I blew the call he said
ur blowin with ur cheeks but how else are u suppose to blow into the call ?
TangeClown: me neither but im not sure its the call. just gotta figure it out. ive also
been told by a world class goose caller that its a fine call, especially
for someone my age and my experience, and watched him do some pretty
impressive calling on my call. its tough to figure out but thats why we
GundogsOnline.com: Glad it helped. Check out some of our other calling videos. They may help
Wittner Andrews: lol Wettish
GundogsOnline.com: Thanks man ... I can't wait either ... our season starts on Sept. 2nd with
a 15 bird daily limit ... as for the call, it's a Tim Grounds Super Mag ...
there is a link in the video description to check it out.
trapfor12: Well done. Good instructinal video. Have to get my grandsons watching it
TangeClown: what are peoples thoughts on the Buck Gardener Canada Hammer II?
crazyman304: Thanks for posting
Xtatikpaintball101: is that a canada hammer??
cameroneugene: im wanting to get an illusion goose call either the flute or the short reed
cant decide im eleven and im wondering what would be the easiest maybe some
body can help me
GundogsOnline.com: Thansk man ... we try to make it easy so just about anyone can understand.
Glad it helped out ... good luck this fall.
fastfart56: hey i just got a canada hammer II also and it is a great call but i had to
tune mine up cuz i thought it was a bit to low did you tune yours?
NamesWolf: how does the K&H pit boss compare to like the meatgrinder or any other
short reed call? i bought the pit boss and i think it's a good call but i'm
new to calling goose.
shotboy09: What call are you using?
zach hop: i have that same call, ive had it probably for 2 years and still have no
clue how to call like that guy in the video
AngusMcSpuds: good vid. i use a Lohman Gold Series. about 7 bucks. last year was first
full season for me. my buddies use primos goose flute. it is pretty cool to
make a call at geese flying in the distance, and watch some split off and
come to decoys. no bands, yet. but lotsa yummy goose and duck meat
preserved (pressure cooked). i will practice the off hand techniques you
shared in video. ty.
GundogsOnline.com: Absolutely ... never puff out your cheeks ... blowing from your chest gives
you more power and control.
selling94: what are you saying into the call
shboyett: quick question. are u supposed to blow from your chest like in a duck call
when blowing a goose call or what?
GundogsOnline.com: That's great to hear ... I'm pumped that the video helped you out ... best
of luck this season.
Damico07: basically grunt in the call is how i do it....uuuuuuhhhiii uuuhhhi....low
gumble to a high pitch ee for the snd of the cluck....hard to explain in
Colby Mason: i have a shaved reed canada goose call and its a bitch to call with
callin73: i have gone out goose hunting and have had no success becuse my calling
sucked. this video made it easy to call
Damico07: yea totally different calling strategy with short reed vs short reed
GundogsOnline.com: I used to use a flute call, and have moved on to the short reed ... they
have a much greater range of tone and a capable of many more sounds ...
they take practice to use, but once you get it, they are easier and use
less air. I'm using a Tim Grounds Super Mag in this video, and there is a
link to them in the video description ... check it out ... and best of luck
this season ... hunt hard, and hunt safe.
TWINKIESforFATTIES: @selling94 ive had "hut" suggested to me a few times.
punx8086: I did the same. I called with a flute and they are super easy. A short reed
is a little tougher. Practice with your off hand with the placement and how
much you blow. Venture off the path until you find the right tone. It takes
a little bit until you find the right placement of you off hand, but their
lies the key with these short reeds.......
Jacob LaFountain: you use grick
Patch Sellars: Anyone else notice its raining?
hellandheimen100: Hey again. I had some trouble with the translation of the actual name of
the goose i was gonna hunt, but it look like specks. But it isnt. Its
actually a Greylag goose, and i cant find a instructional video or a sound
file containing the call anywhere. Do u know some callings for the greylag
goose? that would be very much appreciated! Thanks :D
fastfart56: hey thanks for the call your video just made me want to hunt more and try
out my new SKILLZ in the field great video and good luck this season!! our
season starts on saturday but im not hunting early cuz the fields arent
combined!! have a great season and bye!!
bighunt986: Great video. This helped me out alot. Thanks for the helpfull advice that
everyone else on here forgot to mention.
GundogsOnline.com: Excellent ... good luck and let us know how you do.
mrgooseslayer13: i cant get a low note on my short reed it just sounds all crackly and not
