2 Cold Air Intake Mods: My Dodge Ram 5.9L & Durango 4.7L

What do you think about this video?

ryan hotchkiss: Thank you for taking the time to make the video.

john mcdonald: Don't buy that dual air intake. It does suck in all hot air off the block. I got more power from my original air box. Might be great at the north pole on a really cold day.

Joeanna Eckler: where did you get the little air filter.
?.?

Patrick DeNile: That's durango's got a short ram intake, completely different from a cold air intake. Hell, you're sucking in air directly above the block! More like hell-air intake

Plant-Based MD: More like Hot air intake! lol

michael brown: sounds like your fuel pressure regulator is giving up

1111kronan86: thats not a Cold air mod it sucks warm air from the engine

98_Blazer_LT: would this also work on a 99 Dakota

Duckett95: Hey I had a durango and had tranny problems but it was bad wheb I bought it I got rid of it now im buying a 4x4 have u had any problems with yours? One guy that pulls with hid alot said to change my valve package in tranny

simplemodding: those little breather filters aren't good for your motor..

KevinConley ETA: What improvement to gas mileage are you seeing with the new air filter

RVR2: Not sure the particular name but I think got mine from Auto Zone.. A Valve Cover vacuum air filter maybe..

FERPITBULLS: Sorry for the last comment My Cell chance My words. I did replace My dodge. Ram 99 air intake for an airaid system but I still cant find that lilttle filter for the engine. It is an specific name for that filter ??

FERPITBULLS: Hi , I did replace My intake for and airĂ¡is sistem but I still cant. Find that litros filter on the rigor side , is and specific name for that little filter??

RVR2: Cool Thanks! The circular air filter on the 5.9L fits better with a shorter K&N circular air filter so it's not so cramped.. I used the stock white air filter provided till it needed replaced then ordered the K&N. Yeah the dual air intake on the Durango works great as well as it looks.

Shane Staie: I'v actually always wanted to do this to my 1994 Ram Sport with the same mopar performance one its about time someone did it, and the dual snorkel on that durango is sweet!

RVR2: Yep. The whole top of the engine (all but the heads) had to come off to replace the plenum gasket

Tyler Auer: And I'm assuming you replaced the gasket because it was burning oil problem?

RVR2: yes, the oil cap on the valve cover (not the pcv valve)

Tyler Auer: I assume by cap your referring to oil cap and test it out while its running

Schools: Learn how to get phlebotomy training in California! The job pays decent money for the amount of schools needed to graduate.
