Dreadnought Tactics Space Marines Warhammer 40,000

What do you think about this video?

TheHorreK2: as a guy that never played any of the table top version i can say: .... i have no idea/i dont understand a single word but it sounds fun with some friends, some alcohol and a free evening xD

Adam Baker: too bad the standard dreadnought box only comes with one close combat claw arm

Shane Eversole: Great tips with assault dread fritz.

Kevin R.: Strength 12 (6 to times 12)

SoupCann: Personally, I would go for something that can take out hordes, like a heavy bolter or heavy flamer and also something that can damage more "Space marine-y" armies such as the plasma cannon. If your going for the hammer I would go for some thing like a heavy bolter or assault cannon, just to dakka things if you need to.

Lemonshark38: Can they shoot over cover?

mandingas2: bla bla bla another space marine....

Hatsune Miku: Also, if you play vs orks, 2 HFs is best to eliminate those hordes.

Hatsune Miku: He doesn't have the penalty (It's a powerfist with 2D6 armor pen) and let's say you want to kill a land raider, then i would use chainfists. If you fight something like orks, take seismic hammer.

dragonstormx: Well I don't see anything that says the Dreadnaught doesn't have the initiative penalty for chainfists, so I'm assuming it does here, and 2D6 against vehicles seems kinda over when it's S10, and the seismic hammer when rolling for results takes a vehicle out on a 4+, so I'd stick with that.

Hatsune Miku: Chainfist. 2D6 armor pen is much more interesting.

Hatsune Miku: So not true. Play a game before you start concluding stuff.

Hatsune Miku: However, if the drop pod lands off the map you're freaked.

Ursanthropy: Ah found it, it says it in the new Imperial Armour, Any space marine chapter codex including chaos can take it.

Ursanthropy: It's In the new Apoc book but can be taken in regular games by space marines. I'm wondering if BT can take it as well.

Ursanthropy: Can Templars take the Contemptor?

russell woolford: Works with drop pod assault, but I play Dark Angels and we dont have that... but then I can do that with terminators, which is pretty cool ... suicide for the termies but cool nonetheless!

Lachlanfleming): what about space wolves, should u go close combat for it

Mikael Pettersson: I like to take a dreadnaught with multimelta and dreadnaught close combat weapon in a drop pod, make it land behind your enemies vehichles and shoot its rear armour from turn 1. That 2d6 to penetrate armour if its within 12" almost always makes a damage and the ap1 gives you a +1 in the vehichle damage table. Then the enemy has to take you down and give you time or let you continue to roam around. XD

obi wan: tank hunter doesnt give u +1 s it gives you +1 on armour pen roll

Schools: Learn how to get phlebotomy training in California! The job pays decent money for the amount of schools needed to graduate.
