Juzza8346: What's the voltage drop under load? Just out of curiosity…
EisMann: Do you sell these? Can I buy one from you? I tried to make it and it didn't
work and it pissed me off.
Nick Pascale: The song playing is combersome by sevenmarythree if anyone is wondering
m35a2lover: That's a badass mod looks heavy duty and durable I really like it ! And
great tunes in the back ground seven Mary three and bad religion , great
combo of tunes !!
scott smith: I'll just have to try to make my own nobody on there seem to want to help
Oras Alhbagi: can you please give more details about the connector and the washer on the
tipton davis: where did you get the five ten connector. and what is it called and used
for? plz answer me back im been struggling with finding the connector for
JackstandJohnny: Oh also when you say "510 connector", do you mean a 510 BATTERY connector
or a 510 ATOMIZER connector? Also how did you get the lens/bi;b portion off
the body of the flashlight? The one I have looks like it can just be
twisted off. Thanks in advance.
chris numnuts: hi how do i get my torch mod to give out more heat do i just do less raps i
got the torch mod to work but its poor on vapor
scott smith: Yeah I'm still wondering if you sell those flashlight mods . I know
sometimes the comment on going to the junk file.
JackstandJohnny: Hey man first off, great video. Just great, Secondly I wanted to let you
and everyone here know that you can get basically the EXACT same flashlight
from Harbor Freight, Northern Tool, Ace Hardware, etc. but the cheapest
place to get them is Harbor Freight because if you get their coupons via
email, backs of guy magazines, etc then you can get them for FREE!
Anyways I wanna ask a couple things. The switch, both wires are positive
right? Like it doesnt matter which post gets soldered to the spring right?
Also I just wanna comfirm that basically the cap you made with the 51-
connector replaces the lens and bulb of the flashlight right? Anyways great
stuff man I just dug the same flashlight out of my junk drawer and Im gonna
make one as soon as my parts get here. Cheers.
Stephen Mulkey: That is bad ass brother. I've been looking for something like this because
I am poor, but I still want a mod. Bet you could even squeeze a kick and a
smaller batt to get VV on this bad boy.
Zom Bie: I'm thinking about ordering the lightsaber flashlights off think geek and
turning them into mods.
Bradybill Browning: can you build me 1 frend
Ujjwal Pandit: How to make the cartomizer????????????????????
HaXxXo VtotheZ: This is great if you save the old spent ecig parts from dead ecigs to
recycle them and create new ecig hybrid ideas once you know the basics of
how they work...also helps to have a decent knowledge of electrical
connections and soldering in general. Great video bud.
JackstandJohnny: Thanks for the info! Much appreciated!
Josh Fisher: Hi, I made one I did every thing but it just won't fire. The circuits
running how it should but when I put a tank on it it won't fire I can feel
like a little shock on my lips hen I push the button & it's will vap every
once in a while when I mess with the cord but the it stops. Please help
spyralspyder: Do I have to listen to Bush for the build to come out nice, or is it
Allun Robins: That's just given me a great idea,i have a 6xD cell maglite that's just
begging to be modded, the only difference would be an inner tube to stack
the batteries(5x 18650's) and change the end cap spring.mmmm.smokin'
John Webman: hi, where did u get the 510 connectors?
ManaGlassStudio: Cool thing is I actually have a laser welder at work so I don't even need
KinGIIRomE: Any resisters being use there or no?
tek413: the adapter would work just fine if that is all you can get, you can even
thread it so that it screwes in to the washer, 510 = 7.5x half pitch metric
Tom Gozette: People completely misunderstand batteries and voltage drop. AAA nimh have
no issue outputting excess of 5 amps. Yes is shortens the capacity (mAh)
because it wastes energy heating the battery. But it is not why 3xaaa will
not power your ecig. The problem here is voltage and power. Any 3.6 voltage
supply in that case will deliver a max of 4.8 watts to the load (not enough
to vape) because of the tubes resistance. The infamous voltage drop is from
series resistance, look up voltage division
tek413: well, if you want to request this, I will make one. Its dead simple
actually, if you take a cartomiser or atty you can deffinatly add a pll
from a fancy light (the led and voltage regulator) to allow you to have a
screw on head that will be as bright as any tac light
Tom Gozette: Do you notice the tube causes serious resistance? How does it work with one
18650 battery on say a 1.8-2.4 ohm coil? I have tried with one or two cheap
flashlights but the tube measured 1.2 ohms resistance taking away too much
power from the load. I suppose at 6v this would bee less of an issue,,, I
bet it would vape better if you add a copper strip internally to lower
OfficialDonTerra: would you build one for me and post it an dhow much would you charge? for
the whole thing, I sell 18650's myself so I don't need the battery just the
case your making??? pleas eget back to me
Jure Matoh: Bad Religion!
tek413: But does the ego firefly run at 6 volts and a draw of 2 amps at 3 ohms?
Just curious if they have changed the 650 mah batt to include a boost
circuit for people like me who like 12 watts over 8 ..
Hyzing: is it possible to use the original battery pack that comes with the
flashlight with 3 rechargeable aaa batteries?
UndaHoodPro Muzik: Nice video sir. Can you teach me or send me a tutorial. And tell me also,
what those items did you used. Sorry for my poor english. Thanks! Godbless.
tek413: I have checked harbor freight, and no, the ones there are too short to do
just what I did, but will work with a little modification.
tek413: True, and if you mod the bottom switch so it is momentary it works well
nazirul hanis: the best tutorial ever!!!!!u are the one inspired me....long t
Tom Gozette: Well take out that 3xAAA battery pack... Put 3xAAA batteries in it. Using
just scotch tape and copper wire to connect the battery pack to a 510
connector directly = amazing vape off of 3xaaa batteries. Now try using
that same battery pack in the flashlight modded to a 510 connector. No
switch, no circuitry... Just the battery pack, the washer and 510
connector. Notice how it now produces 0 vapor on a 1.8 ohm coil? Yes I
sanded / buffed all metal contacts first.
tek413: thank you very much
tek413: What is the resistance of your meters leads If you touch them together?
owhfuckyou: hey uhm can you list all the materials that you use?
tek413: its a spring, solderded to a switch, and soldered to the center pin of a
connector that is in a washer...
Steve Miguel: im attempting this...my only question is...it the bottom switch still
funtioning? and is there a way to add an LED when it fires?
Jody Wilson: do you sell these? The soldering seems easy for you to do, but I am a clutz
with trying to solder anything. Also, you made me wonder something...in the
mods we buy from the various shops, how do we know they are using lead free
solder?? I am a bit concerned about that now, especially since I have no
idea where these are being made.
Jay Taylor: Ohh haha, too bad it wasnt color vapor LOL
Cody M: I like how you say "quarter."
Phestr: 510 Connectors at GoodProphetsDOTcom
e kratz: I figured they were too short looking at mine. but a buck is worth wasting
at harbor junk. lol
tek413: Its just how I chose to run the batts, you can actually run them in the
other direction. I just feel that spring makes better contact to the larger
surface of the battery then the positive nipple.
tek413: Well, there in lies a problem. The part that screws in is a cartomiser. I
prefer cartos, over attys, but there simply a short length of kenthol wire,
or resistance wire, and set to around 3 ohms for ecig use. The magic
happens when you surround the coil with a eliquid, that would vaporise in
to the inhaleable water vapor and nicotine combo.
