How To Replace The Window Regulator On A 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix

What do you think about this video?

AlanCCampo: Thanks for this video! Both of my rear windows on my 2004 went out around the same time. I was able to fix both of them by following this! You're a life saver.

LMonkeyBAd11: how do u know if the window isnt on track?

axell660: thank you thank you thank you.

Mike Ramirez: nice

E Hickman: I did do it myself.. just lineup the bolts ect. about 45 minute job

Don Francisco: anybody know the similarities between the rear door

Doug Cooke: Good video. When my driver window stopped working it went down only but it was mid of winter so that wouldn't do. I had to take out the actuator just to tape the window into the up position. I still don't know if it's the switch or motor or both but would like to. The switch still works on the other windows but I always need to jiggle it down and up a few times for them to go back up, same thing that happened on drivers window before it went out altogether. what do you think?

John Favaloro: Puts paper towel on screw driver as not to mar the door trim panel. Then proceeds to throw door trim panel on the ground. freaking moron.

E Hickman: actually, rolls down but not up

E Hickman: passenger side rear just went bad. Will roll up, but won't roll up. 05 comp g

Norm Browne: Great Video thank's got the same 2004 and color scheme. Working on the Drivers side rear door. No problems so far.

Robin Kelley: Great video by shooter250 very well done, exactly the same car & same window as mine made it very easy !

Mort Batchelder: Thank you this saved me from breaking the door panel trying to figure out how to remove it.  I just replaced the driver side mirror.  Once you get the door panel off, the replacement of the mirror is obvious.  Three 10mm bolts and an electrical connector.

Diamondust25: I dont suppose you have/know of a video to replace the side mirror....

kelly mcclanahan: Good tutorial, I had my problem figured out in 30 min. Took the reg/ motor assy out as a whole , split the motor and reg, plugged the motor back in. It ran to the down side but not the up, prob solved bad motor. P.S. i checked the power both ways from the switch. Thank You again

Joe Raper singer songwriter: Thanks

hitekhik: Thanks much for the information you provided above. I will be working on this in the next couple of days, (once I get off my rear-end).

Heh heh........................

Prof001x: Thanks for the helpful instructions!

Chris Holdcraft: I just finished installing a new 2004 Pontiac LF Regulator thanks to you.  I forgot to put door lock button in its hole. Keep up the great work.

Tyler Gefroh: you're awesome man, i really appreciate people like you.

Schools: Learn how to get phlebotomy training in California! The job pays decent money for the amount of schools needed to graduate.
