Jeremy Phan: ... then recovery isn't installed, obviously. Use CWM or use RecoverX and
make sure it's installed.
Jeremy Phan: Does it show up in Device Manager? Does it show up in My Computer? Isolate
the issue: computer, USB port, USB cable, etc. Find the variable.
Jeremy Phan: All the steps are the same. Root, recovery, custom ROM. Make sure you visit
the SK17i forums for any specific files (such as recovery) for your model.
Jeremy Phan: Verify that recovery is setup properly.
Jeremy Phan: Something's conflicting with ADB. BlueStack, FlashTool or other program.
Utsav Tamrakar: Hey Bro...I watched similar video as yours and did same upto the rooting

Jeremy Phan: ... changing the kernel doesn't upgrade your phone's version...
Jeremy Phan: ... I don't understand. If you used SUS, it will have repaired the phone.
What's the issue? Flash the FTF and start over.
Jeremy Phan: Read the title.
BlowoftheRetribution: My Computer didn't find my arc s in the flash tool I installed all the
drivers. What could be the mistake?
Jeremy Phan: Already posted, weeks ago. Visit the channel. /watch?v=as8kSzThbSw READ the
Jeremy Phan: If you wiped the system and you're using a stock kernel (locked
bootloader), you erased recovery. Install it again.
Jeremy Phan: You have ANOTHER program (NOT adb) conflicting with ADB. Find it. Close it.
Disable startup items. Run MSConfig.
Neomattrixx: Great clip bud. I also agree on the original Arc, its still my favourite as
well. I think every vendor that thinks of making a phone should look at it
as an example of ergonomic design perfection imho :). Kudos.
juliovc77: Works out perfect in my ARC S (.62), just a little prooblem winth root
utility, strange symbols in DOS window, but did the work in mobile. Thanks
Jeremy Phan: Plug your phone in and use PC Companion. You shouldn't be on Gingerbread.
Else, download the FlashTool and update it manually. There are dozens of
videos about updating the phone.
terence Cesa: sorry the flash tool link in the description says 404 There isn't a GitHub
Rakesh P M: i rooted my arc s, installed recoverx.. unable to get on to recovery mode..
Utsav Tamrakar: Hey bro i rooted the phone and installed recovery just as you said, but when
i reboot the phone it wont open up the recovery panel even after pressing
the back button.help.
TechGerbil: The phone isn't roaming because the network it's connected to is Fido.
However, I want to know how to get the phone not think it's roaming. It's
registered on Fido, yet the bars still display the roaming "R" on top and
every 10 seconds there's a message saying roaming data disabled.
Raykomen: all works fine, but after i install jelly sandwich i can't go into
Jainil Shah: I am working since last three days to root my Lt18i running 4.0.4.
4.1.B.0.587 As in your video i flashed lt15a kernel generic (nam) on my arc
s. Will it be a problem ? But the phone started normally. The problem i
have is in rooting. When i open runme.bat file and follow the steps then it
shows Error: More then one device and emmulator and it fails rooting.
Please help me fix this. Please.
Jeremy Phan: ... follow the instructions in the video and/or description.
Jeremy Phan: Which ones? If your Internet connection is blocking those sites, there's
nothing I can do.
karl-kaur Kaseorg: use PC Companion or Update Service to repair your phone
Jeremy Phan: Is the phone recognized by the FlashTool? Are the drivers installed? Check
Device Manager. Plugging in the phone with USB Debugging should show up in
FlashTool as well as Device Manager.
mangse satu: Please make video root for xperia j. :)
Jeremy Phan: Download the firmware again. There shouldn't be any issue preventing you
from flashing .587. Make sure you've got the latest FlashTool as well.
bis032: Hello Jeremy. Your guide is fantastic! Detailed and clear.Thank you very
much. Just one question: I cannot download the 587 firmware for LT15a. I
cannot find it. Only for LT15i.The link to it in the xda-developers forum
is broken. Is there any difference between them? I'm afraid that it will
Ian Rez: I just followed the last tutorial for the last version and I did the
recoveryx, the root everything perfect, but I made the mistake to upload
directly from the air, but the phone turned off and now I can not turn it
on, I used the SUS but nothing happened, and also I flashed with the ROM
but still nothing, could you please help me with this?
Jeremy Phan: ... yes.
Rumar Ganso: I think i will follow the video. Since its an open source in front of my
eyes and i dont have to look abywhere else and hopefully i would succeed.
So i will try it tomorrow and any questions(even the stupid ones) please do
answer to me. Thanks in advance. Hope i root my beloved xperia pro!
CroatianExTc: Hmm., I was able to root my phone but my bootloader is locked by default by
carrier.., And can't unlock it., So., that thing said,. Is there any way to
flash custom rom without unlocking bootloader?
Jeremy Phan: READ the DESCRIPTION.
TechGerbil: Hey Jeremy, I'm using a rogers branded arc too and i noticed that after I
installed the generic rom, rooted, and installed a custom firmware, my data
thing always says roaming. Was wondering if you get the same thing cause
I'm scared of using before I get roaming charges. I have a fido sim and
before rooting, it always said either 4G or 3G.
