StinkyCheese9999: yes, but their phone selector is woefully underpopulated with few modern
phones so it is hit or miss which apps to try and succeed at.
dhw317: I stream Youtube videos on my S390G and I'm satisfied with its performance.
cmp3000: dhw317's comment is true. My s390g has now reached the limit (11
configurations) and cannot connect to wifi anymore. The configs cannot be
deleted, even though there is a checkbox next to each of them and a delete
button. Tracfone must have messed up Samsung's firmware somehow. I love the
phone, but want to send it back because of this. It is a serious flaw that
will reveal itself eventually to many s390g owners.
kandyzsweetie: Do you have to have wi-fi in order to watch videos?
Lesberatti's Place: I saw a video that showed streaming on the Samsung S390g
MrGlockling: I like how they don't show this feature on tracfones website... Thanks for
Jake Kennedy: Can someone please reply for some reason the wifi icon turns green for
about 30 seconds and then turns blue and starts using data why?
Phonegeek: can it download apps and games from getjar??
ToxxicTess5683: So, if I were to go to McDonald and use their free wifi... I have to delete
the connection before I leave the place? Then I wont have the save router
problem I heard about? Just clarifying.... Thanks!
Phonegeek: well its new so it maybe be not on the website yet
xspartanX3x: Does using wifi use up your minutes? if it doesn't can you use your wifi
free when your home and use there internet when your away from home(using
up minutes of course)?
SaraST8: Hi Kandyzsweetie, this is Sara from Straight Talk Wireless. Unfortunately,
the Samsung S390G is not capable of video streaming even if you are
connected to a Wi-Fi. If you have any question, feel free to send us an
email at TF.CorpResolutionTeam@tracfone.com. Thank you.
StinkyCheese9999: No, they can be stored on a mSD card you add, transferred to the phone over
bluetooth (the slow way), a USB2 card reader (the medium-fast way) or a
USB2 cable (most convenient & fast way), then once stored on the phone's
memory card, play back when you want.
CoolSwedishBoy: Thats good it has wifi! Because my parents are trying to save money
dhw317: You can use WiFi for free without burning minutes at home or elsewhere such
as restaurants. However you must DELETE that connection each time through
-Options- rather than just disconnect. If you don't do this you will
eventually fill the memory with unusable router names and be unable to add
a new one or delete previous ones. The phone will then be unable to connect
to WiFi at all. The only way to correct the problem would be to obtain a
new SIM card. I found this out the hard way!
