Jordan Aluyan: What does unbrick mean
Adrian Valdez: Man thanks a lot!!...this works for a ColorTab CTC07SO with a different
flash memory, this one has a 29F32G08CBACA, the tablet was dead because
the firmware that I put it was wrong, doing this procedure windows 7 was
capable to detect the tablet again, then I put the correct firmware with
the Rockchip batch tool v1.7 Best regards from Guadalajara, México earth of
Tyson Caldwell: Used your process and unbricked a Coby mid7042. THANK YOU! This was a month
long process that was simple with this process.
John Beitz: problem was the usb cable. unfortunately i did not have to tear it apart.
for those with hands that aren't so steady just clip the red wire and
solder it back together after done and tape. if FWDN does NOT recognize
mid7015 please change your usb cable first and save yourself some trouble.
chances are it may not be bricked.
chfortinz: rhomis, sorry about my english. I followed your indications and i got the
red screen. But now i want to know how to install the software again?
Thanks for your help.
kobe star: does anyone know how to fix a hardbricked galaxy tab 10.1 like this? i have
the verizon 4g/wifi
Rhomis Rhemis: Good! :)
Christhian Lima: Did you ever find the files for your tablet with H27?
Leonardo Stefani: I tried to pass the ANDROID 2.1 firmware, 'he does not recognize the nand
and just got the notice of driver connected' ok click on start, he says the
message hit very fast ... of which disconnects, connects and disconnects
... try the process again and always the same ... I tried the case on
sdcard and does not work
Harold Washington: I followed this instruction thoroughly. For three days, I got no
satisfaction. I used both my desktop and laptop. I bricked my mid7015A
while trying to load an image file upgrade. I almost gave up. The key to
un-bricking your Coby device is loading the VTC Telechips device drivers.
Once my desktop recognized it, the FWND went smoothly. Although my laptop
recognized the Telechips USB device, my desktop broke open my device. I
shorted a lot of pins. I did not care if the device worked or not.
Junior Campbell: hey, i have a coby kyros mid 7125 and the screen not reponding how can i fi
Rhomis Rhemis: NO. If your computer sees it, you don't have to open the tablet. Even if
your computer reports an error as you describe, it is still communicating
with the tablet, and that's a good thing. You need to start over with a
copy of Android version 2.1 and work your way up to version 2.3.4
(GingerBread) repeating steps over each time.
nikosxania23: hello,i have a mid1024 and i have try to update to 2.3 from 2.2,now is
dead// when i push the power button only the touch lights are opening and
after 7 seconds they close to i have try to press the home button and power
button but nothing,i have try even this with the 7 and 8 pin but nothing
also i have take away the resistor but still nothing,is there any hope??i
will be very happy to hear from you..
Rhomis Rhemis: It is tricky. You need to start with ANDROID 2.1 first (SAME instructions),
then again with ANDROID 2.3.1 and finally again to ANDROID 2.3.4
NotNotKenny: I have what i think/hope is an easy problem with a mid7015.I dropped the
thing and the outter glass part broke. It powersup with no problem but i
can't use the touch pad.I know i need a new outter glass but i don't know
how to go about replacing it.I don't think it's as easy as just popping the
new glass in place.Any vids on this?Sorry for the taking up space with this
problem but i can't find one.
Kanishka Prasad: how do you unbrick coby mid 8027 !!! and i tried ur tutorial !! with
shorting the 7 & 8 pins of the nand chip !! but no response !! please help
with this issue !
Rhomis Rhemis: Check the video description now. I updated it with a link to get you

Kevin Chelf: Where can I find the VTC drivers for Win7?
fid pers: whi you do complicate the open of tablet and when takeof the wire o current
first most take of the gruond becouse if you touch any ground dint hapent
accident is just an observation
Kevin Chelf: And the lk.rom, NAND Data.fai and tcc8900_mtd.img files?
Rhomis Rhemis: No. Just Googled enough information to fix it.
Rhomis Rhemis: Great! I am glad it worked.
Kim The Kid: Hi something wrong wit my screen everytime when i try to type in my lock
password when i press the letter A nothing happens
Chester Wardan: Wouldn't it be better to remove the ground wire instead of the positive?
Rhomis Rhemis: That is a different tablet! Rest it by One finger on the screen, and one on
the power, the other on the menu.
Kevin Chelf: Actually tcc8803_mtd.img. I have a 7127 that is bricked.
Eddy Cordo: by the way remember not to remove the short on pins 7&8 until windows
recognizes your device. this was the tricky part for me...
masterofsubway: Hey you do not need to remove the power wires, trust me it will work
without removing the power wires. The only thing you need to do is to short
those pins the guy in the video tells you to. I even made a tutorial once
to KobyTabletZone how to unbrick your coby. Also I am a specialized
computer hardware expert in Quanta, the factory that used to make those
Cobys and also the same goes to Haipad
orphan252: but what doe that do i hust want my 7012 to connect to my canon t3i, to use
as a monitor any advice
TheCodingGamer: Any ideas on how to open a MID7012?
Harold Washington: Do not give up no matter how much you try to un-brick the device. I am 62
and have been an electronic experimenter since elementary school.
Roy Bales: Any idea of doing this with a 8120? Mine is locked in password phase and
can not power off to do a reset.
Rhomis Rhemis: You'll have to try starting at the lowest OS, like 2.1, then 2.2, then 2.3,
and so on. Your version "MID1024" is not the same as the MID7015. Perhaps
you can search the internet for a different jumper setting.
Eddy Cordo: Thank you so much rhomis! I thought my MID7015 was totally useless until I
saw your video. A suggestion to others who would want to try this and who
are not skilled with using the soldering iron, there is a risk of frying
the chips if too much heat is applied. What I did was I just cut the red
wire from the battery using a small wire cutter and soldered it back after
I unbricked the kyros. I just thought that was safer and easier. More power
to you, rhomis!
Rodolfo Pino: Hello friend, you video come back to alive my tablet MID X6 XBURST, i do
the same that do you and it power on again, thanks.
Rhomis Rhemis: Not sure, but maybe possible. If it is bricked, it may be worth a try. For
less than $100.00 get a AGPTEX TP10A It comes with Ice-ream Sandwich
Android 4.x 1.28 GHZ. Runs Adobe flash and works super great. Can use a USB
mouse or keyboard. I got both (mini keyboard/case for it).
Rhomis Rhemis: If it is bricked, it may be worth a try. What do you have to lose?
vSxScopeZz: Sorry just found out ita a m009f not m900f
CBass209J: hey, how can install again the android 2.1? how did you do it? thanks
Ashish Kaundal: hi rhimos.my sylvania synet7lp-ds tablet is not geting on. i think after i
install wrong firmware they gone to be dead(Brick). so please help me to
fix it just like this tablet
Rhomis Rhemis: Cannot be used as a monitor. a ThinkVision LT1421 portable monitor may be
what you need.
Rhomis Rhemis: @vSxScopeZz As of yet, No. Keep searching
