Alexander George: hi I have already been asigned a static IP address by my internet provider;
can I use this load on to me DVR internet settingsand HTTP port 88....can
anyone help please
bkpickell: What you did for selecting the IP address is not the right way to do it. If
you don't get replies it could mean that the IP address is assigned to
another device, but the device is not turned on.
The only proper way to do it is to select an IP address that is outside of
the scope of DHCP. You have to check that in your router.

M4Defense: Great job on explaining how to obtain and set up ip info, I spent a lot of
time trying to get this info. Got up and running. FYI, D-link router uses a
"virtual server" that you can enter dvr info & you don't need to add the
second "2000" rule. Thank you very much!

DYAC: My friend's business did extremely well with adwords. He basically pay google to put his promotion ads on varies websites and the conversion rate is really high. I guess it helps since he sells gag/prank gifts and his ads get display on funny autocorrect websites. He wouldn't tell me the exact amount, but I'm estimating it is near the mid 6-figure salary. No risk no rewards I guess.
