Mobile How To: if you have certain email accounts on your phone like an Exchange email account (most likely for work) there has to be a certain level of security and it will not let you have alternative options.
amitpbarnu1: I have locked the screen using an alpha password, now I want to disable it, when I go to the "settings" "lock screen""screen lock" I type my password, it helps me change to a new password, if I enter existing the screen shows all icons disabled except for "password(high security)" I'm trying hard to disable the password lock option, i'm happy with left to right finger swipe lock. Could you help please.
brwa omer: you dont say !!!
Mobile How To: Not exactly the same, but it does a similar job.

Lcd4lbad: I do not have Screen Lock either. What do we do now???/
john-paul rees: very helpfull cheers
Mobile How To: We are not aware of this being a feature of the S3. You may need to look for an app that can do this for you.
NatureSurvival: how do you set password for memo, file folders, sms etc?
Gary P: For those in the UK (at least) who still can't find it, below is the process I used to find this feature on my phone:
1. Tap the "Lock screen" option in the "Settings" menu. On mine it is located just above the "Security" option.
2. Tap "Screen lock".
3. You will then have a range of options for locking your phone.
4. Sigh of relief, question in your head why Samsung do not provide a proper instruction booklet and then move on and look for another "How To" video for this phone.
OhhCathy: for people who cant find the "screen lock" under "security", you may be able to find the "screen lock" under "lock screen"
Philip Hawthorne: Hey i got a Pattern lock for my phone anyway for a pin for your Messages don't want people being able 2 read my messages if i have given them my phone to play games
nfs242322: This really helped cos peeps tricked to take my s3 atleast I got it back
TriLucy22: For those of you in the United States with the Verizon Samsung Galaxy SIII, go to settings, scroll down under Personal and click "Lock Screen." Click on "Swipe" at the top, and change it to one of the higher security options.
Lj Morena: oh its in the end of the video. thanks
Lj Morena: how about removing the password if u dont wana use a password anymore?
JohnsonsChannel1: Crack what you need ★ PasswordCracker.ｍｅ ★ get full versions
Tonasha Stephen: for those that do not see the "screen lock" option, when you go to settings just scroll down, there youll see a "lock screen" option.
Mobile How To: Is it hidden in another menu i.e security?
jen bee: i dont have the option of screen lock for some reason... what do i do then?
L Hibo: no it's not network locked, I'm using a vodafone nr that works properly, if you mean this with '' network locked device''
of course that should be some security ops but do you know where ? :D
Mobile How To: Is yours a network locked device? There should be some security options
L Hibo: I don't have screen lock option on my security menu too, so how we can put a password now ??:)
Mobile How To: You may have a network customised device. You are running a non customised version of Android?
