fady fso: I just replaced the digitizer glass and the LCD. The screen is only working
with the pen, but no respond with my finger. what you think the problem is?
Kevin Buesse: I've replaced cracked glass on Samsungs quite a few times, and I've done an
LCD replacement once before (where the new screen came with the frame
already attached and I just had to transfer the boards). Currently I have
an LCD/glass with no frame, so I'm going to need to separate the old one
from the old damaged LCD, which appears to be what you're doing in this
video. For the life of me though, I can't tell how you're getting under the
LCD with your knife instead of just cutting between the glass and the LCD.
If I just go at a sharp enough angle, will I get under the LCD?
MrKK: hi , i want to ask, ive got note 2 with broken touch and lcd display. i
opened, assembled it, and saw that my mainboard is a little bit of crack
very little ,but when phone were on it make sounds, led notifications
flashed, volume and power buttons worked, so is there any problem with it
or i can leave it and change the screen?
puravi shetty: After the display is changed.....does any data from the mobile go?
crystal sealey: change the digitizer in mine cuz it ripped while changing the screen.
Please help since the new one is not working. I used the same serial number
as the old one but it is not working...
Brittany Macias: So I dropped my phone and now my screen is black any clue on how to fix it?
Rolando Ramirez: hi i accidentelly cut the digitizer LCD flex cable on samsung note 2 t889
..do i have to buy the whole lcd? thank for help
irman seleman: hi i accidentally cut the upper ribbon when i was changing the screen. is
that the digitizer ? so do i need to buy the whole set ? any chance of
getting it repaired with low cost ?
Yanne Amaral: What is the function/importance of those two small black "plastics" that
you put over the home button ribbon cable? I mean, if i don't have them it
wont work? Thanks..
Roland Taliga: When i replaced the glass screen on my note 2 , i do no why, but it won't
detect when i touch the screen, just the s pen. What do you think, what
part do i need to replace?
Mark Tapia: I just need to ask a question
so i dropped my phone and the screen cracked and went all black but the
little light on the top left still turns on but no sound and the LED lights
on the bottom of the phone dont light up either although my alarm still
sounds off every morning and i still here the Facebook pops from my fb app
Jackie Adams: Where do I get the screen?
kesarkuch: Hey what tool are you using for the suction?
Borja Lopez: I tried to remove the screen like you do on the video but I only removed
What should I do?
Emil Figueroa: i bought a used LCD from a note 2 L900 model i have a i317 that the only
thing broke is the LCD do you think the LCD from the L900 will fit on the I
317? please help me thanks.
delseibo25: Hi, what camera you use to record your videos. Thank You!!
Vitaly O'Connor: My note 2 works perfectly. Except nothing displays on the screen. What
caused this? Amd how do i fix it? I have a nrw screen but i know its a
different problem then that.
ritika ritu: My phone fell down on floor and its not working now.Its display is
breaked. Can anyone tell me from which site i need to buy cheap and best
display. Its orignal display is of 6500. I need to buy cheap display.
mulan: Hi, I dropped the phone and shattered the glass, but the phone was still
working fine. I replaced the glass and in the process of prying the broken
glass off, I broke the thin, black (almost like liner, not sure what it's
called though) between the glass and I think the digitizer. When I powered
up, I can hear the sound and see the light on top lights up but the screen
is black. Do you think that I should replace the digitizer now or just the
black film part (if they even sell it at all). Thank you for help.
brodri5: My note 2 has a ripped home flexor and cracked lcd. If I put the phone back
together and charge it, it doesn't dispay anything. Does the home flexor
prevent the lcd from displaying images? Or do I need the new screen
jxsilicon9: Yea it looks like I would break it trying to do all that. I should probably
just get the entire LCD assembly.
JuzxPlayin x: Where did you get your suction cup from?
Ay Kay: Can the N7100 screen be replaced with an N7105 (Note 2 LTE) screen?
Ranjit singh Rana: sehr sehr gut und sauber Arbeitsart Respekt
Madderhatter: Also I've been told by multiple places that the tmobile and verizon note
2's aren't compatible, is that true? You seemed to indicate it's not in
your last reply.
Madderhatter: The repair store you show doesn't really offer only the lcd. You can get a
new full top unit off ebay now for like $120, and entirely good unit with a
bad ime for like $200, which is what that store wants for just the repair
parts. Do you know of a store that just has the lcd for a reasonable
price as that's the only thing damaged with mine. Somehow it's shattered
under the glass without the glass being damaged at all.
Kalia Anderson: Hi so I dropped my note 2 and the screen won't come one but you can hear
the sound.. How do I fix it if I follow all of the steps you just did will
my phone b fixed
ElGenkiDama: I was changing the screen on my phone but when i opened it, I think i broke
the ribbon the was connected to the digitizer cause now the screen wont
detect when i touch it. What part do i need to replace
nanao ka: hey! i accidentally dropped my phone and now the lighting is a little fuzzy
and spoilt so i was thinking is it only the lcd that needs replacement
right? plus i can still use everything, im currently typing on my phone.
ahaha. my friend said it needed a total repair if i went to the repair shop
but honestly i think it's just the inner lcd screen which controls the
lighting. im confused, it isnt bad its just that now my screen looks
whiter/ paler. if it is only the lcd, is it easy to replace it? will i lose
my memory? well i think i wont but my friend kept insisting i will lose it
because the lcd screen is hard to repair...
MrNcastillo: How do you clean the front camera? Ive been trying to figure it out but idk
Jefferson da Silva: i was trying to replace my damage screen and cut the corner left gold color
stick(front screen next to the charging light), is there a way to replace
just that part or do i have to replace the screen ?
Ezekiel Fonseca: What is styles film and were can i buy it because i replaced my lcd and the
pin is not doing the airview on my note 3
Mende D: I'm actually watching it on my ipad mini
Mende D'Esopo: Yeah it works cool excellent video:)
Arlene Gonzalez: What is the cable called on the top part of the phone? As I was trying to
replace the glass only I sliced the cable by accident and now I can only
use the pen on my phone.
danielle robinson: Hi so I dropped my note 2 and the screen won't come one but you can hear
the sound.. How do I fix it if I follow all of the steps you just did will
my phone b fixed
Mende D: Damn the video isn't playing for me I just get a spinning wheel:(
drewski4144: Oh no, a video with a person with a retarded accent. No wonder England is
being taken over by Muslims.
Michael Swem: Awesome instructional video which explain thoroughly.
Randel Abratique: Would the adhesive still be sticky when I put the "broken" lcd back on to
the frame? Or would it not be adhesive because it has been removed already?
Akber Naqvi: Please reply ASAP, I'm really scared that I might have to pay 200 dollars
for a new phone. In the midst of trying to disassemble the phone, I
accidentally peeled the LCD off just a tad bit off the edges instead of the
actual frame you're supposed to take off. When I put it back together and
tried turning it on, everything was working except for the screen. It's
completely black. What should I do? Is my LCD broken? It doesn't have any
cracks, it's just a little separated from its adhesive
Naveed Ahmad: Its good
x9x9x9x9x9: BTW be careful because the touch keys/home button flex cable is right at
the bottom and you will slice it. I just did. freak!
Nicermarket Co.,Ltd: nice
Mike N: The replacement went well!!! everything is working except the phone calls.
I can text and get on the net but cannot receive or make calls. It tries to
make calls but then says "out of service area" even though it shows full
bars. Any ideas????
derek Bang: Where can i buy the touch digitizer board? I was replacing the screen, and
the stuff underneth the screen broke, i assume its the lcd display and the
touch digitlizer board where can i buy those 2 things at? I already have
the glass frame for the outside.
schell: This is how all teaching videos should be made, well thought out, concise,
calm, without extra noise, and organized. It helped me replace a broken
screen. BIG THUMBS UP!
Naveed Ahmad: Nice its realy helpfull
PKX392: Hi, I really like your videos, I have an issue that has formed after glass
replacement on my Note 2. I was extremely careful in trying not to damage
anything during the replacement process and I did not use excessive heat
either. The issue is that about half the time the phone touch screen will
stop working during normal use and then when I hit the lock button on the
right side and then unlock the phone again it will be ok for a while before
it acts up again. First thing I did was a soft and then a hard reset with
no luck. Next, I noticed the problem is worse when the 12 small screws in
the back of the phone are very tight, I loosened them all a few turns and
this helped it act up less. The pen always works by the way. I installed a
multi touch testing app and this proves that something is up because it
sometimes reads fingers that arent there, generally in the middle of the
screen and sometimes this programs just completely flips out and reads
fingers everywhere. So at this point Im guessing that maybe the replacement
glass is too close to the LCD? It also does seem to be negatively affected
if I bend or flex the whole phone, this also sometimes causes the touch
screen to flip out of just quit altogether. Is the issue with the glass
touching the LCD or should it never touch the LCD? I'm thinking this might
be the problem. Is there supposed to be anything like clear film between
the glass and the lcd when the glass is replaced? Any input is extremely
bashar gabriel: you are a grate dude, love your work so helpful i used your tutorial of the
S2 before to assemble my broken screen
