Starrlota Gilmore: hi, I just replaced my screen and now I have no visual. What should I do?
LE55ONS: if the display under the digitizer is not damaged and the digitizer is still working ok then you might want to try a 'glass only' replacement. Search for 'galaxy note 2 glass replacement' and you'll find a few results. Alternatively you might find some 'glass only' services on eBay
Sam Charnley: hi, my screen is cracked (Samsung Galaxy Note 2) the glass is cracked from the left hands side outwards, then under the glass in the bottom left, the white area is cracked & i can sort of see inside of the phone, does this make sense at all? can you tell me what i neeed to buy aswell? so i can get my local repair shop to fix it, thank you for reading this, please reply asap if you can :)
LE55ONS: I didn't have any at the time, but now I do...
Fussel fresser: Why you dont use guitar pik's, it is much easier ?
LE55ONS: try etradesupply, com and use coupon code ETS2 for a small discount, you won't lose any files but its best to make a backup if you can
Diego hornades: will I loose my stuff in the phone by getting it fixed
LE55ONS: you can't replace the back screen, you'll need a complete display assembly, try and buy one that has the metal frame and the s pen flex already applied
Diego hornades: my note two glass isn't messed up but the back screen is how much would it cost to repair an can it be repaired
LE55ONS: It might be the same but ask the seller first
Bryan Quoc: Thank you so much for the helpful video! My daughter recently dropped her phone and the top layer of the screen seems to be fine but when I tilt the phone to the light, the black layer underneath (lcd?) seems to be cracked. I'm trying to replace it but I'm wondering if the Galaxy Note 2 T889 LCD will be compatible with my daughter's N7100? Thanks!
wolf Bat: Thank you 3
LE55ONS: I think the S3 uses stronger glue than the note 2 but it can be done, search for 'Separating Screen Assembly from Front Frame'
wolf Bat: why the glass screen and lcd still one piece and the adhesive still strong will it go like that with s3?
wolf Bat: Will this work with s3 ??, Thank you.
LE55ONS: it does sound like the display is the problem, can you borrow another note 2 and try plugging their screen into your mainboard?
Rubeel Iqbal: the first one was broken so cannot use that. the vendor i bought this from sent me this one after teting, now i fiddled with the connector for te lcd and it now just flickers when i turn on and that is all
doesnt turn on at all anymore
LE55ONS: you probably have a faulty new screen, can you plug in the old one to test?
Rubeel Iqbal: I have a question, i changed my digitizer and LCD, the phone now turns on but the screen stays off, what could i have messed up ?
LE55ONS: thanks for the offer but I don't have time for repairs. Buy a new screen with the frame and do it yourself, or find a friend you know who is good with this kind of thing
LE55ONS: Sounds like it might be the digitizer glass which is not replaceable
Alexus Neely: ive recently damaged my lcd and digitizer on my galaxy note to i am wondering if you are able to repair my phone? i am willing to pay!!!
Jessica Barron: As I was taking my screen off the tinted screen behind it cracked and came off with the screen.. what is it called? and how can I fix it please?
TheRealChx kay: Ah. Thank you. I just gotten rid of my LCD. Didn't know how to.
LE55ONS: I sold it on eBay and received good feedback so it must be ok :-)
Kesely Nandoo: Are you sure you re nit damaging anything :/
hilt m: Oh yeah sorry my bad. Thanks for the reply mate, I appreciate it.
LE55ONS: Yes they are the same, I've put that in the description (About) but not many people see it for some reason?
hilt m: Does anybody know if the LCD with digitizer from n7100 will fit the n7105? Note im not talking about the frame here just the LCD digitizer bit.
LE55ONS: I'm not sure what part you mean but you'll probably need to buy a complete new screen assembly if the digitizer flex is damaged
LE55ONS: It does sound like the double sided tape is weak or missing. Take it back and have them use some fresh tape
Jonathan Sigua: I had my screen+digitizer replaced, and now I'm having all kinds of issues. The screen doesn't lay flush and depresses when you push on it. The proximity sensor also doesn't work unless you push on the top of the screen. So when I'm on a call I need two hands to use the keypad.
Is my screen just not properly stuck back onto the frame part? It looks like at 23 minutes you just stick the screen back onto the frame and it lays flat.
LE55ONS: the glass in only the very top layer, if the display is cracked then you'll need the complete assembly. Make sure you buy one that comes with the s pen matt and frame
Alan Clarke: The display screen is broken on my phone if i replace the glass will it fix the display?
Ayman Al-Baghdady: Dude you are the best...
Your videos are so helpful, it helped me replacing my Note II front screen...
thank you so much
LE55ONS: what parts did you replace?
TheBretzilla: I dropped my Note 2 and the glass cracked i sent it off to be repaired I got it a week later, charged it, turned it on it made the startup sound but my screen is black so i was wondering if anyone could tell me why this is happened?
Konstantin Kimlaev: I repeated this operation, and I have a problem:
Sometimes my screen is off, but touch-screen is on.
may be it's a grounding problem :(
Could you advise somthing?
LE55ONS: Have a look on etradesupply, com as they sell real oem and you can select your exact model, use coupon code ETS2 for a small discount

Bruce Tran: So i had dropped my note2 and the lcd screen cracked, a visible crack can be seen, and i want to replace it but i have no idea what to buy im looking online and im lost on which one is the right part. I just want an original part or something just the same that would have all the right pieces. Im just nervous about buying the wrong thing can you help me please???
AgainstDaMachine: awesome I'll give it a shot if it doesn't work I guess I'll have to replace it.
LE55ONS: its on the left about 55cm from the screen, I can adjust the temp by moving the gun closer or further away..
LE55ONS: it might still have some water trapped inside, take it apart and leave it in a stream of hot air at around 60c. Give it an hour or more to be sure its fully dry. Make sure you disconnect the main screen connector so it dries out fully
Aaron Soriao: from what direction is your heat gun facing the lcd assembly?
AgainstDaMachine: I accidentally dropped my phone in the pooper while surfing xda. I immediately took it out and cleaned it up, opened it up, dried it and it looked like only the rim got wet. Everything is working fine except the bottom half of the screen. It's not reacting to any touch. The S-Pen is working fine but I know that's separate. Does this mean I have to replace the whole digitizer? Was going to leave it in some rice for 2 days to see if that would fix it but I doubt it. Any suggestions?
LE55ONS: its a cheap hot air gun, if you keep the right distance the heat is just right
