Madderhatter: Also I've been told by multiple places that the tmobile and verizon note
2's aren't compatible, is that true? You seemed to indicate it's not in
your last reply.
Madderhatter: The repair store you show doesn't really offer only the lcd. You can get a
new full top unit off ebay now for like $120, and entirely good unit with a
bad ime for like $200, which is what that store wants for just the repair
parts. Do you know of a store that just has the lcd for a reasonable
price as that's the only thing damaged with mine. Somehow it's shattered
under the glass without the glass being damaged at all.
Borja Lopez: I tried to remove the screen like you do on the video but I only removed
What should I do?
ElGenkiDama: I was changing the screen on my phone but when i opened it, I think i broke
the ribbon the was connected to the digitizer cause now the screen wont
detect when i touch it. What part do i need to replace
Emil Figueroa: i bought a used LCD from a note 2 L900 model i have a i317 that the only
thing broke is the LCD do you think the LCD from the L900 will fit on the I
317? please help me thanks.
Ay Kay: Can the N7100 screen be replaced with an N7105 (Note 2 LTE) screen?
Mende D: Damn the video isn't playing for me I just get a spinning wheel:(
Michael Swem: Awesome instructional video which explain thoroughly.
nanao ka: hey! i accidentally dropped my phone and now the lighting is a little fuzzy
and spoilt so i was thinking is it only the lcd that needs replacement
right? plus i can still use everything, im currently typing on my phone.
ahaha. my friend said it needed a total repair if i went to the repair shop
but honestly i think it's just the inner lcd screen which controls the
lighting. im confused, it isnt bad its just that now my screen looks
whiter/ paler. if it is only the lcd, is it easy to replace it? will i lose
my memory? well i think i wont but my friend kept insisting i will lose it
because the lcd screen is hard to repair...
Jefferson da Silva: i was trying to replace my damage screen and cut the corner left gold color
stick(front screen next to the charging light), is there a way to replace
just that part or do i have to replace the screen ?
danielle robinson: Hi so I dropped my note 2 and the screen won't come one but you can hear
the sound.. How do I fix it if I follow all of the steps you just did will
my phone b fixed
Arlene Gonzalez: What is the cable called on the top part of the phone? As I was trying to
replace the glass only I sliced the cable by accident and now I can only
use the pen on my phone.
Naveed Ahmad: Nice its realy helpfull
Ezekiel Fonseca: What is styles film and were can i buy it because i replaced my lcd and the
pin is not doing the airview on my note 3
Randel Abratique: Would the adhesive still be sticky when I put the "broken" lcd back on to
the frame? Or would it not be adhesive because it has been removed already?
MrNcastillo: How do you clean the front camera? Ive been trying to figure it out but idk
Mende D'Esopo: Yeah it works cool excellent video:)
drewski4144: Oh no, a video with a person with a retarded accent. No wonder England is
being taken over by Muslims.
Akber Naqvi: Please reply ASAP, I'm really scared that I might have to pay 200 dollars
for a new phone. In the midst of trying to disassemble the phone, I
accidentally peeled the LCD off just a tad bit off the edges instead of the
actual frame you're supposed to take off. When I put it back together and
tried turning it on, everything was working except for the screen. It's
completely black. What should I do? Is my LCD broken? It doesn't have any
cracks, it's just a little separated from its adhesive
Mende D: I'm actually watching it on my ipad mini
Naveed Ahmad: Its good
PKX392: Hi, I really like your videos, I have an issue that has formed after glass
replacement on my Note 2. I was extremely careful in trying not to damage
anything during the replacement process and I did not use excessive heat
either. The issue is that about half the time the phone touch screen will
stop working during normal use and then when I hit the lock button on the
right side and then unlock the phone again it will be ok for a while before
it acts up again. First thing I did was a soft and then a hard reset with
no luck. Next, I noticed the problem is worse when the 12 small screws in
the back of the phone are very tight, I loosened them all a few turns and
this helped it act up less. The pen always works by the way. I installed a
multi touch testing app and this proves that something is up because it
sometimes reads fingers that arent there, generally in the middle of the
screen and sometimes this programs just completely flips out and reads
fingers everywhere. So at this point Im guessing that maybe the replacement
glass is too close to the LCD? It also does seem to be negatively affected
if I bend or flex the whole phone, this also sometimes causes the touch
screen to flip out of just quit altogether. Is the issue with the glass
touching the LCD or should it never touch the LCD? I'm thinking this might
be the problem. Is there supposed to be anything like clear film between
the glass and the lcd when the glass is replaced? Any input is extremely
Nicermarket Co.,Ltd: nice
Mike N: The replacement went well!!! everything is working except the phone calls.
I can text and get on the net but cannot receive or make calls. It tries to
make calls but then says "out of service area" even though it shows full
bars. Any ideas????
derek Bang: Where can i buy the touch digitizer board? I was replacing the screen, and
the stuff underneth the screen broke, i assume its the lcd display and the
touch digitlizer board where can i buy those 2 things at? I already have
the glass frame for the outside.
schell: This is how all teaching videos should be made, well thought out, concise,
calm, without extra noise, and organized. It helped me replace a broken
screen. BIG THUMBS UP!
bashar gabriel: you are a grate dude, love your work so helpful i used your tutorial of the
S2 before to assemble my broken screen
LE55ONS: I sold it on eBay and received good feedback so it must be ok :-)
jsig: I had my screen+digitizer replaced, and now I'm having all kinds of issues.
The screen doesn't lay flush and depresses when you push on it. The
proximity sensor also doesn't work unless you push on the top of the
screen. So when I'm on a call I need two hands to use the keypad. Is my
screen just not properly stuck back onto the frame part? It looks like at
23 minutes you just stick the screen back onto the frame and it lays flat.
Starrlota Gilmore: hi, I just replaced my screen and now I have no visual. What should I do?
Gaston Acosta: soo cool.. thanks 4 this video ;)
Ayman Al-Baghdady: Dude you are the best... Your videos are so helpful, it helped me replacing
my Note II front screen... thank you so much
lesorax123: And the One, please. Keep on making the best repair videos on youtube. You
deserve fame for your hard work. Wait, is the One even SEPERATABLE?
LE55ONS: I would buy the complete screen assembly, it costs a little more but comes
with the frame, home keys and s pen flex already installed
LE55ONS: I've now updated the link
AmirulXOXO: Suara macam pukimak .
VieuxMalcommode: At least knowing the steps brings one closer to understanding what the
process is and the courage to tackle the job. But how does one deal with
adhesives without making an irreversible mess of it? Do you have any advice
for those who have never done this before?
LE55ONS: You cannot use an LCD instead of an amoled as the control voltages are
different. For some reason most people refer to them as LCD, even eBay
sellers are unsure of what to answer when you contact them..
Nippledozer: also, the link for the screen with frame doesnt work :(
hilt m: Oh yeah sorry my bad. Thanks for the reply mate, I appreciate it.
LE55ONS: they all have a digitizer and a glass lens on top, if you watch some of the
'glass lens only' repair videos you'll see they lift the glass away from
the digitizer using heat and thin wire or blades. Try watching the 'glass
screen only' link in the description
LE55ONS: Possibly, these are Thinsulate winter gloves bought from my local garage
LE55ONS: Sounds like it might be the digitizer glass which is not replaceable
Jarwan: A complete screen assembly costs around £150 - £200 which is about 45% of
the full price of the phone. For those that only shattered the digitiser
then it only costs around £10 - £20 on Amazon and is sold by Samsung
themselves on their amazon shop. Surely it'd be cheaper to just buy what
Alkatraz Chappy: Please can someone answer this question - I can't find a straight answer.
Why is this video called "LCD" Display Screen Replacement? I thought the
galaxy note 2 had a "HD Super AMOLED" screen? Is this replacing the Super
AMOLED with lower tech and cheaper LCD? Or is there something i am missing.
LE55ONS: putting it in a vacuum chamber would remove air bubbles
AgainstDaMachine: awesome I'll give it a shot if it doesn't work I guess I'll have to replace
LE55ONS: thanks for the offer but I don't have time for repairs. Buy a new screen
with the frame and do it yourself, or find a friend you know who is good
with this kind of thing
VieuxMalcommode: Wow, what amazing dexterity you have! Hitting tape and adhesive is where I
stop and consider that Surgery starts ;-)
LE55ONS: yes, but keep an eye on the temperature if you can
