norim_13: Did you used some schematic you found or you desingned them amp?
GitaristAceOfSpades: with 6l6's I've experienced thunderous bass power bus EL84 don't have that
although when overdriven, EL84's are very loud. Then they have that
agressive yell, but not too harsh, like the last part. EL84's are clean
very beautiful, don't put out a lot of power in my experience. If you're
playing clean in a bar or cafe, you really need to mike it. In overdrive,
it blows your head off.
oliversul: deve ser emocionante tocar uma guitar usando um amplificador desse tipo e
ficar olhando para nele enquanto toca... hahahaha
Nicholas M: Care to share your schematic? Nice build and sound. Push-pull EL84's sound
awesome. Prefer them over most tubes, but they are bass limited compared to
bigger bottle tubes (6L6, KT88, EL34)
fender51503: this is great man! Awesome you can get tones from a vox and a marshall in
the same amp! Great job!
ersemola: hello friend... usually i think the amp marshall are too much "brilant" and
are not for metal, they should be used with a fender for other kind of
music. i have an power amp peavey classic 50 50 wich el84. wich kind of
sound give me the el84? thx!
GitaristAceOfSpades: thanks! Yesterday I found out why the marshall channel had so little bass,
I didn't connect the earth of the tonestack. Now it sounds fatter and much
Paul Ocampo: Hola, muy bueno el amp, te hago una pregunta, cuales son las specs del
kingswayguitar: nice... too bad you didn't have a better recording setup... raw would sound
great loud!!! way to go for the van halen
Cert: Building stuff is always in my family gene. My dad is a new york auto technician and taught me everything I need to know about cars. Now I sell car parts online to suppliment my income. So it does help when there's good guidance.
