Toyota Sienna 2007 Check Engine Light, VSC, Trac-off Lights On Because Loose Gas Cap

What do you think about this video?

Justin Thyme: My solution is the most logical. I went back and forth between Honda and Toyota. I needed two of them. I made the wrong choice. I'm trading both in for Hondas.

Justin Thyme: I have two 2010 Sienna's with 60,000 miles. Both of them have this problem. Never again Toyota, never again.

Ernestus Baltazar: I took battery cables off battery for about 2 mins and it all came off reset everything that light for the gas cap there's a button on the left of the steering wheel press it and hold it till it turn off.

nberal: A big thank you to suggesting the gas cap. You saved me lots of money :))) Bless you all out there!!!

amir khalid: I read some comments almost everyone saying you have low pressures in tire or spare tire which is not true cause spare tire donโ€™t have sensor the one is in sienna. Anytime you have flashing TIre pressure monitor sensor light โ€œTPMSโ€ on it could be 100% bad sensor or you have too much air in tire.

Elvis Hunky: It's a bad catalytic converter

Russell Belicek: fixed my issue, thanks

Jason: Take out the bulbs and sell the junk

Peter P: That light that you still have on, that's low tire pressure warning light!

Paul Oghotuama: Turn off your tire pressure lights by holding down the button for 3secs. The button is just to the left bottom of the steering wheel. Am sure you figured that

Topazfungus997: My 2004 Sienna is doing the same thing check engine light, VSC, Trac off it is because gas cap is loose or it need to be replaced. The gas cap in my van was not loose its the gasket deterioration due to the age of the car. All i did was bought new gas cap from the dealer and that took care of the problem...

Forbidden 1: My vehicle is 2008 sienna with 225000 miles.

Forbidden 1: Thank you sooooooo much!!!!!!!! Your solution worked. I sprayed WD-40 on the gas cap, tightened it and drove for about 60 miles and the lights FINALLY went off. I did NOT want to give the dealer any $$. I did get a little nervous when the light didn't go out after about 40 miles but they're OFF. Thanks again

Sandra J: I am with you on the gas cap light!

Alext3557: the light you pointed at is for the tire pressure, fill up your tires.

hason morfa: MY FRIEND JUST TRY TO BE MORE FASTER . WE DONT HAVE WHOLE DAY

John M.: Ok, I conquered this pesky annoyance! LOL! Here's what worked on my 2006 Toyota Sienna: With ignition off, you push and hold the black TRAC OFF button under the Steering Wheel to the lower right for 2-3 seconds. Then release it. Then, start the vehicle, and press and hold the button again during the dash lights power up sequence for 2-3 seconds, then release it. Booyah! Problem fixed. Of course, I'm not sure of which button pushing sequence did it (before start or after start), but no more annoying light. P.S. - In my case, this dash light indicator had nothing to do with the gas cap. I never touched the thing. The internal black button was the key to the fix. ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ˜€ Enjoy

EDWIN RIVERA JR: the reason things come up with no Morning Wood Toyota is because it happens with no warning. the reason VSC and traction control came on on your vehicle was because the road was slippery and when the road is slippery you're not supposed to use VSC. everybody knows that ever since 2005 all vehicles got the gas cap gas leak detector mounted on the engine CPU to detect lack of pressure. to reset the tire pressure monitor or the flat tire thing all you have to do is press the reset button for X leave it rest for about 5 seconds and it resets all four wheels unless you have aftermarket wheels it should work. it sounds like operator error to me

Angie Higdon: I bought a Toyota 2006 sienna yesterday and the light turn on I took to auto zone they said catalytic converter could it still be gas cap maybe

Mike W: I had the same problem in my Prius last night, Hopefully this fixes it, Thanks!

Schools: Learn how to get phlebotomy training in California! The job pays decent money for the amount of schools needed to graduate.
