Ally Adame: If you were to add hair extensions would you choose your root color or tip
Samy Rae: Cool! Hope it turns out well!! :)
Clara L: georgeous ! Can you do a video to explain how you curl your hair beaucause
i love the result and on the youtube its only on long hair :(
Immie ali: I love it on you, the short/medium hair looks waayyy better i think :)
Samy Rae: thanks!
monicaacruz07: My hair is in layers and in a medium lenggth how would i do this ombre look
Samy Rae: aweee thank you!! :):) xx
Jackie White: LOVE the color girl! I may do this later today....I have naturally blue
black hair....praying to the hair gods that it comes out ok!! ;)
Samy Rae: Thank you! And yes I can! I do already have an old video up on how I curl
my short hair with a flat iron, if you want to check that out. It's the
same process, but I can do an updated one here soon. :)
1adrow: I love it on you looks great!
Samy Rae: Yay! So glad it worked and that I could help!! :D Tweet me a pic if you
lepetitemonstre: Ahhh, I love the color, You would look gorgeous with a full head of that
Samy Rae: Thanks so much!! :)
Samy Rae: Thanks so much!! :)
THICKEEMS1: Hey I'm trying that now. My hair is jet blue today I, purchased the quick
blue and also the creme developer in 20 standard lift.
BevMcCrary: I have a grown out pixie cut down to about my shoulders and had been
thinking about ombre and the sectioning idea is good! im gonna do that. :)
kissthebride13: It workeddddd!!! It liiks awesome!!!!!! Thanks so much it was so helpful!!!
Samy Rae: I didn't use foil at all. I just put the bleach in the ponytails, but I had
to bleach twice to get this color...I didn't leave it on long enough the
first time, and I sectioned differently both times to make sure I got the
outcome I wanted :)
TheMinimickey: Your hair is just beautiful!!!! (:
Samy Rae: I was self tanned in this video! haha :p BUT thank you!!! I do like the
black, because I feel like it matched more with what I wear, etc. Plan on
keeping it for a good couple of years!! :)
Katt Reid: turned out perfectly! thank you so much! got my new fall look lol
kissthebride13: Omg it came out perfect!!!!! Awesome video. Great advice!!!!
Samy Rae: Sorry to hear that, as I said, it might not work for everyone, and I'm not
a professional, do at your own risk. I'm not lucky, I just know my hair and
how it reacts to bleach, color, etc. So I knew it would turn out.
Samy Rae: I'm not a professional, and don't know your hair's condition so I can't
really help much :/ If you truly want to do this, then I would say dye it
black, and WAIT for a few months and maybe do the bleaching for the ombre
in the summer. That way you have time to re-condition your hair, and give
it a trim before processing it further. But I wouldn't dye it and bleach it
all at once, it's too damaging.
Samy Rae: Awe thanks! and good luck! let me know how it turns out!! :) xx
Samy Rae: :) !!
Samy Rae: yay! glad it turned out well!!
kissthebride13: I have short hair too. So did you just out bleach in or did u do the
ponytails and wrap them in foi??
jen min: I've been looking at video's on ombre for short hair and yours is the best!
I luv the color and how there are still dark pieces peeking thru. Great job!
THICKEEMS1: I meant black lol.
Samy Rae: Thank you! :)
iLikeMenNow77: We partly used the pony tail idea but it didn't do much so we guess worked
it and it's just fine. You're hair looks really pretty ombré and curly c:.
Samy Rae: Thank you! I actually just went back to all red!! :):) I have pics on my
Twitter & Instagram! :]
Samy Rae: Thank you!! :) xx
Samy Rae: Yep! that's all I did, I went almost all the way up the ponytails, leaving
about an inch or inch and a half at the top of the ponytails, so covered
them a little more than half way. :) But it all depends on how far up you
want your ombre to go, you could do the whole ponytail to have more ombre,
or less if you want just the ends lighter!
Samy Rae: Thank you! :) And yes, I left it in for 20 min. then washed it out, let my
hair dry completely, then continued with the process. Always make sure your
hair is dry when putting on bleach :)
kissthebride13: I put a few highlights in friday amd they came out the reddish color. So
ponytails all over and just add bleach to bottom half?? Cause urs looks so
Samy Rae: I'm really not sure. Bleaching out dark is the only way for other lighter
colors to show up. Your hair needs to be lighter, or close to the same
color in order for the new color to show. Sometimes you need a protein
filler for the color to grab onto the hair. I would go to a Sally's Beauty
Supply if you want to do it yourself, and ask them what products to get, or
go to a salon. Sorry I couldn't be of much help! :/
Katt Reid: Doing my short hair ombre currently & I pray my color comes out just like
yours!!! You're so beautiful!! Thank you for this great video!!
blushzilla: Thanks for the advice! I'm just gonna go for it! :D
blushzilla: Hi Samy! This was sort of helpful to me as you to dye your hair dark and it
looks good! I just wondered as I also dye my hair dark brown. How long did
you dye your hair black before putting bleach over the top to get the ombre
effect? and how do you manage touching up your roots? I'm quite
apprehensive about going ombre D; Hope you can help! Thank yoooou!
Samy Rae: Your hair is blue?! That would look awesome ombre'd!! :D Good luck! Hope it
turns out! :)
SammieLove TheeOneAndOnly: I love it !!!
Dana 〈3: Pretty!!!
bgorecho: Hi. I just wanna ask. Ive been dying my hair many times but the colors just
didnt show up. I tried to bleach it but it didnt turned yellow. What to do
to make the color show off? Pls help
Samy Rae: Thank you! :) xx
vanessa aguilera: Hi samy! I need help! I'm going to do ombre black and hot pink. I'm decided
:). But my hair is currently "two toned" ugly reddish light brown and the
back of my hair was bleached to a golden blonde. Should I dye all black and
then re bleach or try to dye only half way black on my blonde? I have
shoulder length and as curly/wavy as yours on your vid. I know I want it to
look just like yours but I don't know what to do about my already processed
hair, I don't want more damage. Please answer!Thnks!
