john p: my mother-in-law bought one, it was dead in a couple weeks. not sure if
manufacturer defect or her 3 year old grandson got hold of it
Joe Boster: very nice. make me want to go to Wal-Mart.
Logan Kirkpatrick: This is the new Android tablet from Walmart. It's an incredible deal at
$149. It's exactly the same specs as the Nexus 7, except this one has a
microSD slot, HDMI out, rear facing camera, and a slightly higher
resolution camera. Reviews have been really positive on it.
Sean Anthony: Great demo and very good inexpensive 7" tablet. It compares to the Nexus
7, and has a couple cool feature that's currently not in the N7
TheJcm618: Anyone that has this, can it run Plants Vs. Zombies 2 from the play store?
john smith: I don't own either however the Hisense has micro SD card, is cheaper, and
sensei22: photo sphere missing on mine, anyone else has the same issue?
Jules Kondo: agreed. this is what the nexus devices were made for. to push manufacturers
to make better devices...
camaroone123: Thanks REV. I thank i will pick 1-Up.
davmrls: I see you have an illegal torrent copy from YIFY Group....you have been
rmsiaify: nice review, thanks. can the charger be plugged into a 220v power outlet
bonnhew: i realy wanted to see how ebooks and magazines look like :( u forgot to
review that.. after all tablets are mainly used for ebooks and magazines or
general reading. anyway.. nice review
NubsWithGuns: OMG MONKEYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL just messin around thanks for
sharing your thoughts I thought this was a decent review.
ParleChoices: will it play nba2k13
ConditionallyUsed: Seems odd, yet it doesn't seem like newer tablets adds much compared to an
HP touch pad with Android on it. My touch pad still runs most apps I've
RON GORE: I really enjoy your reviews. I'm one with with very litle knoowledge in
this area. And want to learn more. Thank you. I'm looking more into
incorporating the use of one with my keyboards. And I know there's apps for
Jonathan Lyman: I tried to search for a website to buy it outside us but i found nothing, i
would like one as a spare. Also the ui is true tablet ui unlike the n7
witch is phablet ui.
Dan Sarka: Nice review ... you just got another subscriber !! :-)
Philip Mathew: Please post root and ROM flashing
Joseph Wiles: Is it possible to put that on a network like straight talk or something
john smith: Might be going for this, I'd like a 10" tablet but they offer the same
resolution, extra 3" for the same resolution might mean bit pixelly
Thomas Cameron: Where did you purchase it? Does it have a gps clip so that the gps works
without wi-fi? Thomas Cameron firstname.lastname@example.org
Androidplex: would you recommend this product over the nexus 7?
DontFuckWitDreDay: YIFY ;)
fordxbgtfalcon: got mine for $119
jrufus11: why don't you just say it is better than the nexus 7 it has the same
features plus more ,why is everyone so afraid to upset mass marketing
products that create a cult of personality, you can watch a movie on your tv
with this from your extra 64gb sd card while you are stuck looking at your
little screen from your 32gb storage on your nexus 7 plus has pretty much
the same specs, lets just call a spade a spade this is a more practical
capable piece of equipment than the nexus 7
dubswagen: Thanks for this!
FitzAusTex: Thanks for the overview Rev. Hope you could confirm if the front facing
camera does widescreen video, or only 4:3? I have need for widescreen from
the front camera for Hangouts and such. Thanks!
reverendkjr: CM10.1 Vanilla. Nothing special.
reverendkjr: It is probably not Gorilla glass. I have no idea what it is. Seems nice
reverendkjr: Slightly less. 4000 mah for the Sero vs 4300 mah for the Nexus 7. I've been
very happy with it though.
lissa Beach: I got one 2 weeks ago I must say the Sero 7 Pro is a nice tablet ! The best
7 inch out at least for now !
Anme Gane: Also found lots of info on the Sero7 tablet over at sero7.com
Jason Johnston: I was wondering what kind of glass it uses? I have looked at a few reviews
and have yet to see reference to it. Is it Gorilla glass?
WV591: right on jrufus11
megazordz: Thanks for the review. What ROM are you using on your Nexus 7? I ask
because I have flashed multiple ROMs and kernels but my Nexus eventually
lags and crawls to a stop. Rebooting and clearing cache help, but they
aren't a permanent fix. I never had this issue on ICS.
C North: that's what keeps me from touching these tablets, and that's why they're
soo cheap. many of these types of tablets also have very slow flash memory
or ram, I've seen transfer rates as low as 5MB/s in some! even at 50MB/s,
that's some really low access times, which can make things very
unresponsive. your system spends more time waiting for data. but back to
the screen....you're not saving money if your device lasts half as long, or
to deal with replacements for new screens.
Joseph Robles: Going to 6et it mondsy
Dee Roberson: Just picked one of these up...nicely built, great performance (no lag so
far), good battery life & nice screen...really good price...can't complain!
Maurice KernIV: can u put touch wiz on it?
ooze1982: Excellent and thorough review. I'll be picking up mine tomorrow at my
jmandawg: How's the Battery life compared to nexus 7?
Dan DiFeo: What about video recording?
john smith: No. It's a tablet not a phone. I don't know if you can use a 3G dongle.
ThePatrickberger: Can you make a video on putting music on a hp touchpad cyanogen mod 10.1
MrAriam2007: Best tablet in the market I have one 3 months and no problem
Jesus Ibacache: Cd :-)
Whatatay T: My Sero 7 Pro benchmarked higher than the Nexus 7 and I didn't notice any
lag. Maybe you had the power mode set for "Balanced" instead of
Martin Strong: $129 as 10/24/13
