How To Change A Starter 2002 Chevy Silverado 4.3L V6

What do you think about this video?

Alberto Rodriguez: Hey guys thanks for your video..my 2001 Chevy S10 Pick Up..It was easy to remove the starter..now I need to buy my starter..This hurricane Irma screwed me up

MADHAT39: Starter is on RT side, he calls it on the LT. Must be a Democrat!...  LMAO

Jay York: 2 hours?? For someone who doesn't know what they're doing. More like 30 minutes tops

Chef Jim: AC Delco same starter on Amazon for $46

juan martinez: Does a 2002 Silverado be alike as a 2003 tahoe

Friednoodleeater: I am currently having this problem with my 2002 Tahoe

ghoevers: That was a pain in the ass to remove. All I needed to do was replace the crank angle sensor. I fought with that little bastard for half an hour.

Dj J-Doo: can u tell me why my starter is clicking while I try to turn on my silverado? should I pound it while I try starting it? it sounds like its stuck, thanks.

Chemlung: Great Video and quick and easy explanation of job. Confident now to tackle myself Thanks Guys

Jesus Vazquez: do u know if its the same as a 2003 chevy silverado

mike obrien: Is it the same for a 2002 2500hd??

Matthew Phelps: i figured it out. what it was was the starter had a metal clamp on gaurd that was holding it back. i pulled hard enough to release the clamp gaurd and got it out. swapped it out and good to go!

Christopher Proefrock: Excellent video guys, but in my 1996 Chevy Silverado there's those oil cooling wires that are in the way, any way to get around this?

Spectrum5GHz: @MadhatterFromSFA Pull the radiator towards the front of the vehicle it should just come out. If its stuck post a video response to this video so we can see whats going on with it.

Matthew Phelps: after removal of the 2 long bolts that hold the starter in place. how did you remove it?? there not enough room to pullbit out... i been at it for hours

western49: Very helpful. Good job guys.

Kirk Brisnehan: Gentlemen, nice! I especially thought the diagnosis of a starter problem was helpful. Off to take on this project! Thx!

blackandgold51: Hey nice video. What I wonder is that can I do the same thing with my 1999 Yukon GMT400? The yukon I have is the one before yukons were redesigned when it a was made rounder so mines is the one that is box-like.

Tony Stark: Hey guys i got a 95 suburban and it decides to shut off every now and then...whats weird is the cd player in the truck ejects and the brake light turns on when i start the car...im clueless as to what the problem is...help...

O7ROADKING: good video guys.the small wire is not the ground wire the small wire go's to the ignition switch [key] when the key is turned to the start position it sends 12-13 volts to the starter solenoid to engage the solenoid which in turn engages the starter.the ground is from the 2 large bolts to the engine itself which is grounded its always good to have friends

Cert: Building stuff is always in my family gene. My dad is a new york auto technician and taught me everything I need to know about cars. Now I sell car parts online to suppliment my income. So it does help when there's good guidance.
