Galaxy s 3
Phones 4u: Hey. Sorry you’ve not found this helpful, is it asking for a pin to connect
to another device? Usually this will just display onscreen and you just
have to tap OK, so let us know and we’ll do our best to help. Dan G
Phones 4u: Hi there Thanks for your question. There may be a number of reasons for the
differences between our device and yours, I would suggest it is either the
fact that a minor software update has changed the icons slightly or
otherwise we are using different versions of the handset. This might be
something as simple as ours being a UK device and yours being an
international model or something similar. As long as Bluetooth is working I
would suggest it is nothing to worry about. Thanks Dan N
bobdigi88: Could I listen to the fm radio through a bluetooth headset? If so, I could
listen to the radio on my motorbike.
ETECHJOEs: mine only scans for a few seconds Please help
Phones 4u: Hi there Thanks for getting in touch, sorry to hear that you are having an
issue with your Galaxy S III. Although I have not used the Supertooth
Buddy, however I would suggest ensuring that the Supertooth is restored to
factory settings before attempting to pair the two devices. If this does
not work then you might need to contact Supertooth directly to see if they
can help. Thanks Dan N
Phones 4u: Hi there. It could well be there are capability issues between your handset
and headset. We suggest consulting your headset manual and checking to see
if it works with your handset, and then let us know either way. If it is,
we’ll happily talk through some potential solutions. Dan G
returningfaith: hey im having the same problem. i connected my optimus (from 2 1/2 years
ago i think) and it connected fine. but i try my moms s3 on the bluetooth
for the car but ask for password and idk how to put it in either
WellingtonSS85: Can someone tell me how many bluetooth devices does the S3 can pair to, at
the same time (E.x. Listening to some music through bluetooth phones and
being able to transfer any file through bluetooth at the same time)? If it
doesn't pair to more than just one at the same time, is there another known
cellphone that is able to do it?!
Phones 4u: Hi there. Can you describe what happens when you attempt to pair and detail
any messages that occur? We’ve looked into possible causes but we just need
a bit more detail from yourself before we can help. Dan G
Phones 4u: Hi there Thanks for getting in touch. Unfortunately there is not a way to
change the settings to automatically save files from Bluetooth to the SD
card. The best way to transfer is via the handset after your files have
been received. Thanks, Dan N
Phones 4u: Hi there Thanks for getting in touch, sorry to hear about your handset
issue. Unfortunately Bluetooth can sometimes be very unreliable,
particularly when sending large files from a mobile device. I would
recommend you set up a cloud account (Dropbox or something similar) and
then upload all images from your phone to that. That way they will be saved
online and accessible from any device with an internet connection. If you
have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks Dan N
Hornythorynque: I'm stuck at the "tap okay after entering my name" part :(
MsOpplesandBononos: im trying to pair my galaxy s3 with my plantronic m50 bluetooth, and when i
select the device, it says that the pin or password is incorrect. any ideas
on how to fix this?
Phones 4u: Hi Freddy. Does your Bluetooth headset support voice activated features?
You will only be able to use voice commands if your headset has the
capacity for this, so we suggest just double checking and letting us know.
If it does we will happily look into the matter further for you. Thanks,
EDUFERRERO: Sorry but I could only pair to my car. Not my blue ant or my jawbone
tolearn somethingnew: How do i go about deleting files that i bluetooth'ed from my macbook pro?
The files are music if that helps.
Hornythorynque: I are not happy therefore I can't continue T_T
Phones 4u: Hi bobdigi88 Thanks for getting in touch. The only way that you would be
able to listen to FM radio via the BlueTooth headset is if you also had
headphone jack plugged into the 3.5mm slot on the device. This acts as the
FM receiver and the FM radio will not work without it. Thanks Dan N
stanlelR: ru serious?
Phones 4u: Hi there Thank you for getting in touch, sorry to hear about your issue.
Could you let me know what the other Bluetooth device is that you are
trying to connect to please? Once I know this information I will try to
help you further. Thanks Dan N
Phones 4u: No problem at all, we’re glad we could be of assistance. Let us know if
you’re looking for anything in particular and we’ll point you in the right
direction. Dan G
Demetri Cockonut: a lot of you gonna find out that SGS 3 has a big issue with bluetooth.
there are only few headsets that u can use with this phone as well as cars.
this issue have been addressed to samsung developers almost a year ago,
still no response. i have tried 6 different SGS 3 and still no luck. i can
only pair to phone or printer, but no headset or car.
ZoCkErDeLuXe13: How I can send Musik? I can't do it! Please make a Tutorial!
Atte Suutari: Make sure ur password is correct... i dont even know where i can change
Phones 4u: Hi there Kannan Thanks for getting in touch. When pairing your device with
another the same passkey will appear on both devices, just hold the devices
next to each other and check that the passkeys match and you are good to
go! Thanks, Dan N
Segloa Marti: I have a bluetooth on my computer and my phone could not detect it
Phones 4u: Hi there. What seems to be the issue that prevents you from continuing? If
you could give us some more details we’d be happy to help. Dan G
Mike Nickels: No help...its asking for pin or password but not offering a place to enter
Phones 4u: Hi there. This often depends on what device you are trying to connect. What
make and model is your Bluetooth device? If you could let us know we’ll
happily advise further. Thanks, Dan G
Phones 4u: Hi there. Unfortunately we’re not familiar with the Bluetooth capabilities
of the Ford Escape, but if you turn on the Settings within the car and let
your Samsung Galaxy S4 device scan it should pick it up and connect. If
you’re struggling though, it’s probably best consulting your car’s handbook
for more detailed instructions. Thanks, Dan G
Phones 4u: Hi Thanks for your question. The only way to transfer music from an iPod to
a phone is via iTunes on your PC or Mac. With the Samsung Galaxy S III the
easiest way to do this is through an app called Easy Phone Sync, which can
be downloaded from the Google Play store. If you have any more issues
please do not hesitate to get in touch. Thanks Dan N
Steve Hayes: My mom recently purchased a Galaxy S3, and she got her bluetooth paired to
it with no problems. But according to her, her old LG Rumor Touch would
read her texts in her bluetooth, and now, all she can do is make phone
calls. Any suggestions on how to make this possible?
Kannan G: Sorry dear I still face problem, my Bluetooth devise password is 0000 and I
don’t get chance to enter that in my SIII, the phone select its on password
from some ware like 45638 and 564872, which is not marching with my devise
And thank you so much for your kind help.
Bernard Nathan: did the s3 earphone and the samsung galaxy grand earphone are similar??
Phones 4u: Hi Musa. Firstly we would advise not giving out your serial and device
numbers on the internet as these can be used by other people. As for the
videos, you should just be able to go into your received files, tap and
hold and then select Delete. This will remove them from your handset and
shouldn’t cause you any problems. You may also want to set your phone to
Not Discoverable so people can’t send you any more unsolicited content.
Hope this helps. Dan G
Dalene du plessis: Hi there I bought a samsung S3, when I turn my phone on and the bluetooth
on, the bluetooth works, but when I turn my phone off, and on, and the
bluetooth on then the bluetooth doesn't want to work.......I have to
re-boot my phone to get bluetooth to work again. Please help!!!!!! Dalene
Phones 4u: Hi Steve. As we are unsure of the make or model of the Bluetooth device or
variant of the Samsung Galaxy S3 we’d be unable to offer any detailed
advice, we if you go to Settings>Bluetooth>Device you should be able to
customise the settings of your headset from here. Hope this helps. Dan G
