randomrazr: great concept. to bad from all the reviews they eventualyl blow
Maire O' Leary: Thanks for your video. From the comments it looks like both have design faults but I think I will try to pocket hose because it is cheaper and I want to try something new as I am sick of tripping over my hose in the polytunnel. Do you have to keep them turned off to get them to expand?
Mattwm2818: I bought 2 x-hose pros and a pocket hose. I have not tried the pocket hose yet, but when I tried one x-hose pro, it worked fine the first time, but the 2nd use, it kept getting clogged up in the inner hose, I think it kinked. I finally got it working and accidently wrapped it around a rose bush and it popped. Had to throw the first one away. I got the 2nd one out and it worked fine and I finished the job. I'll see how it works next time. I would suggest getting the pocket hose because if it breaks, it's cheaper. Paying the extra for an x-hose pro didn't seem to pay off.
jbofrtwp: The pocket hose I bought exploded after leaving water pressure on with the nozzle turned off just for a short time. This was after a week or so of use. If I bought a similar hose in the future I might try the DAP XHose Pro that is suppose to be stronger and it has brass fittings rather than plastic. I definitely would not recommend buying either hose in this video after having mine explode after limited use.
J o n a t h a n: mine exploded and hit me in the head ouch my head hurts now, good idea but the quality's crappy if that hoes was made in the USA it last me a life time. cheap Chinese crap.
tjdann64: Please make sure your own equipment is functional (leaking y-fitting, etc.). It's hard to take you seriously sir.
bloodseedrums: if thats the casse why did he say that the pocket hose popped
Nelvin Chin: Great comparisons. Thks very much.
K9Jeeper: The ONLY type of expandable hose to buy is the X-Hose PRO... the black one with the brass fittings and the lifetime warranty. Pocket Hose SUCKS... two burst open on me.
Edward Hunter: you have a leak!!!!!
Lee Shamblee: I just tried ordering a Dap Xhose Pro. The site clearly states I can have a 2nd Xhose Pro for free--just pay shipping and handling. But when getting to the last page before committing to buy it clearly shows the free hose is the cheaper plastic one--not the Pro version. Beware.
Kaiser: Next review .... Rogaine vs Hair Club for Men!
Brian Erickson: Who gives a rat's ass about a god-damn water hose. If you're too lazy to coil up a normal hose you deserve to be scammed into this bullcrap.
cwparadis: I had a pocket hose for about 3 weeks, then it broke, sprung leaks etc... I am unsure about the X- hose or the "x-pro hose" I imagine the brass fittings may fix the problem, but worried about the water pressure.
prolifealways1: we went through the first pocket hose in like 30 days, and the second one leaked as soon as we took it out of the package. Pocket Hose is a great idea, but the hose itself is just more junk...no doubt made in China.
Matthew Schmitz: the new x hose pro has brass fittings so they made improvements
Christianyes1: I purchase 100 ft hose 2 months ago on line. It leaked from the start. Should have sent back right away, but loved the convenience. Bad new, it exploded yesterday. Now no way to get my money back. A waste of $45.00. Going back to my old faithful life time warranty sears hose. Pocket Hose is junk...... I'm happy for those that have a wonderful product, but that usually does not happen. There should be a recall and money back to all who purchased these. They need to fix the prob.
mycatstoki: I've had my pocket hose (the green one) since Dec 2013 and I purchased it from their website and to this day, Sept 11, 2013, I have not had any problems with the hose. I've washed my car with it, watered plants, cleaned gutters and it's holding up very nicely. I've read a lot of reviews at home Depot and tons of people reported the Pocket hose splitting and bursting and I feel bad for them. I wonder if the Home Depot stores are selling a bad batch. I hope those people got their money back.
dave stambaugh: I own one of the green hoses its the best hose I ever owned so much easier to use
