djmixmac: I had this wheel for almost 2 years of light use. But it crapped out on
me. The PS/2 connector (next to the power input in the wheel) for the
pedals went out rendering my pedals useless. I'd recommend Logitech G27
Wheel as its more reliable.
jackday76: did you buy any axtras mate thanks
Sean Čebron: @shaboopie12 Unboxing of pedals is a separate video, check out my channel I
will also review those soon.
Sean Čebron: @shinnylenny You can choose anything between 90 and 900 degrees in
increments of 10 degrees via the on-wheel menu.
Sean Čebron: I have ordered an HD camera and hopefully I will get it soon. Then I will
finally record the review :)
Steve's Videos and Reviews: Does the wheel come with the g25 pedal adaptor?
andy sky: @sonac does forcefeedback strong enough???
Sean Čebron: @darksidebidi I bought this wheel ant the Clubsport pedals in so called
"Clubsport edition" of GT3 RS V2, but you get each in its own box.
Clubsport edition is not available at the moment I think. That's due to
Nick Hagen: I just orderd this wheel and abs aleminium pedals! Cant w8:D
Sean Čebron: @amanrajar Back then I purchased GT3 RS V2 Clubsport edition, Shifter set
and Rennsport wheel stand and it cost me about 500€.
DuRiTo09: Wait do u need the Dongle USB for this wheel?
Sean Čebron: @ps3boy138277 Depends on which wheel you buy. For GT3 RS V2 you have to
order it separately, but Turbo S (standard edition) and Carrera come with
it. This shifter set costs 50$/€.
matics28: why would you even use that crap shifter on this wheel? your better off
getting the CSR shifter set, or even the thrustmaster TH8 RS shifter
Pedro Costa: @BK0125 I race with FFb off becouse after a couple frustrating races i
noticed that turning it off made me quicker. So my G25 isnt very good, ive
had him since release and its a very solid wheel but i think the mileage
that the wheel has is making it going bad. The wheel overheats, ffb is very
jerky and bouces a lot, and it feels a lot difficult to understand the car
with ffb on.
Sean Čebron: @Thillonoz It does have a clamp. I recommend you to check out my GT2 review
if you want to see how looks (in the last part of the video).
Nefus1988: @Rehmat525 No, only the S version and the new GT2 version will work for
João Victor: the steering wheel very good but I want to buy it with no money: (
mastergsan: would have been nice to see the pedals
BK0125: Good unboxing and yes please do that review, I have the G25 and am
interested to know how it compares to it. Specifically I'm interested to
knowing how's the FFB compared to the G25. Thanks.
Sean Čebron: @ji3200 Yes, it's very strong.
Kalem Norris: Sean or Anyone how do you know the difference between GT3RS V1 and V2? and
is it any better..
BK0125: @sonac I appreciate that, and I think I'm going to get the gt3 rs...it's
very frustrating to race against competitive guys and not be able to win
due to the FFB fading away as the race goes on. To be fair I have to say
that my G25 was most likely defective since most people I talk too don't
have this problem. Maybe then I'll post a comparison video as well :)
Sean Čebron: @shinnylenny Fortunately I haven't had any problems and it still works
great. Standard pedals work too, they come with the same cable as
Aman Rajar: hey bro nice work did you tell me the price of full things which you have
Sean Čebron: @DuRiTo09 No, this wheel does not feature wireless connectivity, so the
only way for connecting it is a USB cable that is in the box. USB dongle is
for GT2 wheel (and older Turbo and Turbo S wheels), which can function
Sean Čebron: Sorry for the delay. I didn't have much spare time to make it + I'm trying
to get a hold of a better camera to record it in HD. I will definitely make
it in August. Compared to G25 FFB isn't neccesarily much stronger, but is
more consistent, less jerky and the movement is much smoother. You can set
it to very high resistence, but it will not become hard to control. And the
wheel rim is much better and easier to grip.
KenwoodGT: Do you suggest waiting forthe clubsport shifter to be released to purchase
this wheel or is the standard set alright?
fruity: How realistic is this to real life driving/racing? Taking into the force
feed back, gear shifting ect?
Sean Čebron: @ps3boy138277 I'd rather not influence your decision :) My personal
preference is GT3 RS V2, but I only tried G25. I really like the smooth FFB
and ofcourse the Clubsport pedals are in a class of their own if you decide
to buy them.
Thillonoz: @sonac Ok thanks! I watched that video but I was worried the GT3 V2 was
different :) Thanks for the fast answer btw! :) I might just order this
wheel tomorrow :D And thanks for the video :)
RemusDrift: LOL Lmao,at 2:05 u can hear like a shot, but its from the cables!
Sean Čebron: @ps3boy138277 It comes in a separate box.
Thillonoz: Does this wheel have a table clamp for mounting it on a table or do I have
to buy the ClubSport table clamp?
vinesh ts: does the horn work??
Sean Čebron: @Thillonoz Yup, it has the same clamp - these wheels are almost identical
apart from Xbox compatibility & illuminated buttons. Thanks for watching ;)
Sean Čebron: No, I think that GT2 and CSR are the only two Fanatec wheels that come with
a G25/G27 pedal adapter cable. Here you would need to buy it as an extra.
Sean Čebron: @KenwoodGT I've been using the standard shifter for a year and it isn't
bad. It feels a bit plasticky and is lounder than I'd like it to be, but
other than that I have no complaints - just don't expect too much from it.
Clubsport one does not seem to far away, so it might be smart to wait, but
on the other hand the standard shifter set costs only 30$/€ , so it won't
make a huge difference if you buy it now and change your mind later. You
will have to decide on your own :)
JRod350: Are you still happy with the wheel? Is it holding up well?
Sean Čebron: @AlphaKingsMachinima When I bought , there was a "Clubsport edition"
available (GT3 RS V2 + Clubsport pedals for 320$/€), but at the moment you
have to buy wheel and pedals separately due to very high demand. Fanatec
sells two types of pedals. Standard are plastic and cost 50$/€ and
Clubsport pedals are aluminum and cost 200€/$ (they are expensive but if
you ask around, everyone will recommend you these).
darksidebidi: that wheel doesn t come with pedals?
minddisturb: gunshot sound @ 2:04
AlphaKingsMachinima: Does it come with pedals?
Pedro Costa: review it with GTR2 or any other pc simracing...am thinking of changing
wheel since my g25 FFb is going bad.. Thx for the unboxing!
Rehmatss: will that also work with xbox 360?
vinesh ts: can u connect gear box of g27 to this??
