redheadedneighbor: Love your accent. Great video.
Diana Gomez: I finally found some good tips for my hair! I have winged it all my life
and forgot how great it is to navigate through the Internet for any info
you need. Thanks, Diane! I am trying this out tomorrow!
Jacqueline Posas: This is awesome. Do you have an after photo after it dries?
FourEyedLadyOriginal: You look cute without makeup. Don't sweat it!
Elisabet Covarrubias: Thanks for the tips!! Your hair came out gorgeous!!
P.s. You're beautiful without any makeup! :)
8095frenchy: I love the Shea Moisture Biotin. That is all I use after I jump out of the
shower and scrunch. I will try to use gel right after and see how that
turns out. I imagine it'll look even curlier. Thanks!
gracie garcia: Great!!!!!!
squishymonkey0518: I actually like you without makeup :)
ACatsTheOnlyCat: You are absolutely gorgeous without makeup. I love your accent and I love
your hair! I'm definitely subscribing :)
curlywavydiane: aaww thank you very much for the kind words & compliments! try styling your
hair with rake & shake- you might be able to "scrunch" up the straighter
pieces and then if you don't scrunch as much on the curlier ones it might
even out a bit? always worth playing around with. shine serums & not
touching hair while drying really helps tame some frizz :)
kat torgerson: Thank you for your videos. I regret the abuse I give to my naturally
wavy/curly hair with blowdrying, coloring, straightening, etc. I am
determined to bring health back to it and embrace my waves. Your tips and
videos have been very helpful!!! And I must say that your videos are much
more entertaining than some of the others I've seen! So, thank you so much!!
curlywavydiane: aawww glad the curls came back! hmm the tangle thing is true i'm sure, but
i guess we can't have it allll so i'd still take it! hehehe =)
Shazvana: Thanks for those tips, I will try your suggestions and see what happens.
I'm also trying to grow my hair out for the first time in my life and it's
a daily battle to have decent looking hair (but it's all fun). Look forward
to the next video.
curlywavydiane: thanks girl! good luck- i'm happy to help! =) good luck with the grow out-
i'm growing mine too it feels like forever but patience is a virtue. lol
dirtyyDiana707: Hi Diane, I just wanted to ask if that curl towel that u used makes a
difference compared if u don't do it. Its my first time seeing it. So its
supposed to take excess moister cause it would make it frizzy
otherwise??....I appreciate the info girl. Thanx :)
shibbydoo322: We have very similar hair!
curlywavydiane: you're welcome! how do you like the keratin? aaww tigh curls!!! girl i'd
kill for tight curls! LOL we coulda traded hairs (just kiddin) <3
curlywavydiane: you can use this method with any products =) good luck!
maheen A: no matter how much conditioner and gel i use my hair is still frizzy. is
there anything i can do?
pedrohill22: I just tried this this morning and my hair actually looks good. I skipped
the oil, but I used some tresseme curl lotion stuff and garnier spray in
curl gel. Then I used a generic of biosilk. I have a microfiber towel so I
used that. And it really worked. Though the spray gel is kind of a PITA,
and I think I put a little too much in spots so I'll have to figure out how
to do it better next time.
curlywavydiane: good luck!! =) i think my hair personally looks better air dried. lol
diffusing it makes frizz for me
curlywavydiane: you can totally bring your hair back to good health..i straightened and
relaxed it for YEARS..i have a video or 2 with tips and suggestions for
bringing curls back to health from straightening- it might be beneficial
for you if you haven't seen already..thanks for the compliment and i'm glad
to be of help! haha i just keep it real and act like me, so happy you are
entertained! hehe =)
curlywavydiane: its not tugging, it's raking- like combing. i'm not really pulling on the
mustafa: oh wow first time seeing rake and shake method. i would have never thought
thst tugging the hair like that would let it curl back up. hope it works on
my hair too :-) thanks!
slvrangel22: Would you mind listing the products you use? I purchased the towel. I'm
interested in trying this approach.
Shazvana: You are so cute:) Your hair is awesome and it's so great to see you
embracing your curls. My hair is curly underneath at the back but heavy and
straight on top and I can never get it to look good if I leave it natural
because of the mix of curls and straight...and don't get me started on the
dam frizz!! lol Great video as always, thanks heaps cause it did give me
some useful tips.
curlywavydiane: thats all i do
animallvr87: Hey Diane! My hair is like yours curl and thick wise. The only difference
is my hair is oily and I pretty much have to wash it everyday : (. It makes
my hair frizzy and big and because I don't like the waves/curl I do have I
try to brush it out and it ends up looking worse. Any tips for an oily
tl bachelder: Great video! My waves look like yours when wet, but I cannot get my hair to
dry like yours if I don't use a diffuser. ::hairenvy:: I'll have to try
your version of the rake and shake method when I wash my hair next. (Will
be tonight, now, lol.) Cross your fingers for me!!
maheen A: sprry for asking so many questions but do you know of any good curly
drugstore products because i'm a teenager (going off to university next
year so gotta save my money. lol). and since i live in canada sadly there
isn't any shea moisture..
monipearl: i'm not gonna lie, i almost cried after i washed my hair the first time
after the treatment (global keratin hair taming). zero curls. but
co-washing today with the deva one conditioner brought the curls back. just
looser and really silky feeling. tighter curls= more tangles. just saying.
Kimberly Tafoya: How do you get the crunch out of your hair. I hate the wet and wild look...
misstessyt: good god! just gel it and walk. all your product is on the towel anyways.
curlywavydiane: i don't think i do...thanks for the sweet compliment! you have a great day
Lynsey Haddow: Great video - I usually scrunch my product in, but I'm definitely going to
give the rake and shake method a try. I've just ordered the Deva volumising
curl foam product (can't remember its exact name!), so might give this a go
when that arrives on my doorstep.
organicoliveoil2007: Do you still like to use the wen styling creams?
Letta510: i was just thinking why you never did a video on how you do your hair lol.
have you ever tried the curl and style milk from shea moisture? if so do
you like the growth milk better? I use the curl one but was thinking about
trying something different since they are having a BOGO at cvs for shea
LaurenDayMakeup: Great video! I love that rake & shake method! The curl towel is a great
idea too. Very awesome!! Thanks for sharing with us.
abbey crum: I'm so excited to try this! You're the first person I've seen with hair
just like mine (although yours is much thicker) and nothing I have tried
looks good. Everyone swears by the curly girl method, but it does nothing
for me! Thank you for this video!
mustafa: also what shampoo and conditioner do u use? thanks
Alaina Jay: do u have an accent or is that just me?:) ur very pretty btw have an
awesome day!!! :D
curlywavydiane: good god why don't you do what works for you and i'll do what works for
me?!? all my product is not on the towel so keep calm and why write
unnecessary rude comments?
pedrohill22: Thank you! I used to have stick straight hair, and then I got pregnant (hes
2 now) and now my hair is crazy wavy and I have no clue how to care for it.
This helps a lot.
curlywavydiane: LOL thats too funny! i been meaning to do this video for like 2 months!! i
have the shea moisture curl & shine starter kit but haven't got around to
playing with them yet. LOL. i like the growth one since i wanna grow my
hair- the smell could be better though. let me know if you get the curl
milk how you like it.
curlywavydiane: thanks for watching! =)
curlywavydiane: thank you!
sarababe74: I just came upon your channel and subbed. I am trying to actually work with
my natural wave for the first time ever. I'm clueless! I have wavy hair
with some more curly parts and some more straight parts - it's frustrating
to make it look good. Normally I shower at night but stopped because I was
afraid it wouldn't look good sleeping on it and trying to fix it in the
morning. ANWAY, I'm just trying to get it all figured out so i'm glad I
found your channel :) Sorry for rambling, lol!
