Healthy 4C Natural Hair: Detangle, Baggy & Co-Wash | Jouelzy

What do you think about this video?

Andrea J.: Wish jouelzy could just do one more tutorial. One time for the fun time!..lol

anna54: What is 4c natural hair?  Do you have thick coarse hair or fine and wavy?  Call it what it is.  Why code it?  I have fine thin hair.  When I want to use xtra hair for braiding. I use 1B (off blk) color of my hair.  My sister have thick coarse hair w/a tight curl pattern.  No code.  It doesn't make sense.

RACHEL WITCHER: Hey! is it possible you ahve not done any hair videos in a while? if so would love to see an update thanks!

Miss Frizz: Can finger detangling be used in place of combing? I'm wanting to wear my loose natural hair but I'm not into protective styling especially with weave or wigs. I do like twist out and braid outs etc.

K Hodge: This helped me a ton I usually detangle with the conditioner (unbraided) using finger detangling then sectioned and comb with a wide tool come with little to NO hair out at all. Ill have to try the braided method and see what happens

Sharon Taylor: I have just recently come across your videos and must say that you are a Godsend. I thought my hair was unhealthy because it didn't have the shine, although I make sure to moisturize and seal my hair.Have you ever used the Wen by Chaz Dean products and if so, would you ever consider doing a review?

2011Ohmygoodness: And I know I'm on the right track too because I had that same idea about leaving the braid in while I rinse and gently squeezing it while I let the water run over it.   Thanks again for showing me your way.

2011Ohmygoodness: That was great!!  Thank you. I got some really good ideas from this for my 4C hair.

Nina Serina: Before watching your hair videos I thought my 4c hair was damaged but I see many similarities so I assume your hair is healthy too lol.

Lemons19902010: Very helpful and informative video!

cheche maat: What's the song playing in the background

kia814: i need every help. tip, product i can get this is a monster thank you

Kids Small Planet: Thanks…. because this 4c head needs all the help i can get

Chancy: Love your vids! You are so real! :-)

JenJen Plum: I accidentally disliked this vid sorry

dread head: what is the name of this song?

naturalchica514: This video is great, but what if my hair is not this long. My twists arent this long yet...

Janeal Anderson: So. I know this is random, but I just want to see if I got all this right..
WASHING HAIR:
1. Part hair in sections
2. Spray water + oil mixture into hair.
3. Finger detangle hair.
4. Put in conditioner, working out any more tangles left. (use wide tooth comb hair and comb out hair)
5. Put some chunky twists/ braids in.
6. Steam hair / do some work out to get blood flowing which helps in growing hair
7. "Baggy". Cover hair with shower cap/ plastic bag. Leave for some hours, go about doing your daily routine.
8. To rinse out hair, squeeze down on twists/braids under running water until all the conditioner is out. OR work in conditioner on scalp while rinsing out.
9. Dry hair with a cotton t-shirt to prevent frizzing and breakage.
10. Apply leave- in conditioner put in some bantu knots and allow to air dry.
11. Moisturize hair. (can water and oils be used again ?)
12. style ?

where does deep conditioning come in ?

luvinsumlife: How often do you shampoo wash? How often do you co wash? Do you hot oil treat ? Last question ACV do you try this rinse some time? Sorry, I just love your channel and have your method helps me the best. Thanks in advance:)

monidanielle: I've heard before that you could "train" your natural hair. I didn't think it was possible, but I guess it is. I sarted using your co wash routine, and my finger detangling has become soooo much easier over time.

Schools: Learn how to get phlebotomy training in California! The job pays decent money for the amount of schools needed to graduate.
