oode: no worries
nobi nobita: okay im gonna try..by the way, thx mate :)
oode: you can try " floating notifications" from the play store.. its not quite the same , but its decent
nobi nobita: please make halo into standalone apps, this is wonderful replacement notification for android.. :)
oode: im not sure myself, i havent rooted my HTC One.. but check out the XDA developers website .. if its available, it will be there
Nick Leavitt: Just flashed PA on my nexus 7 2013, is there a PA rom for my htc one that's worth using?
oode: its included in the description of this : /watch?v=eMaOILE3dZ4
oode: it is :)
joedajoester: Your phone is sexy :D
Its a nexus 4, right?
This is what we do: you have to have the policy on black list to open apps with it. white list is only for notifications
Bembry Judah: If you have trouble unlocking your AT&T stuff, you may want to go check out attiphoneunlocking, I have already unlock many phones using that site, it's really trustworthy
Winkle Sevin: Hello guys, do you have a problem unlocking AT&T phones? Many people do because AT&T took away the access to their database from many cheap unlocks. But you can look up attiphoneunlocking, they can still unlock any AT&T phones you want.
Weese Wishart: If you people want to unlock phones locked to AT&T, you can check out attiphoneunlocking, took them only 2 hours to unlock my new iphone 5, they are able to unlock the new 5S and 5C as well.
Truesdell Wilcoxen: If you want to unlock your AT&T stuff, you would like to check out attiphoneunlocking, I have already unlock many phones using that site, it's really reliable
oode: thats odd, i get a random system UI crash maybe 1-2 times a week, other than that though its been fine
Broc Kelley: It's ok I had to wipe everything but it worked..no clue why. Still not nearly as stable as everyone claims.
oode: no ? whats happening for you?
Broc Kelley: Anyone else having problems launching apps through this? I can't get it to work
Via Westra: For people that want to unlock their AT&T stuff, you can try attiphoneunlocking, they are able to unlock all kinds of AT&T devices up to date, even the newest 5S and 5C.
Michael Beck: Nice!
oode: I gotta check out Vanir rom actually, im hearing good things,
Gunner Clarke: It sucks. Seriously, halo just gets in the way and eats ram. Experienced ROM flasher here. I'm starting to get a little bored of custom ROMs because Google caught up with most of the main issues. Now all I seek in a ROM is a clean interface and the best performance. Go vanir rom!
βased:KiliK: Uh, this isn't a desktop computer?
oode: lol come on dude, this is a phone, not a desktop computer
Timwi Terby: What the hell is so new and revolutionary about this? We've had this functionality on desktop computers for over 30 years!
oode: The one in the preview i have no idea im afraid, .. .the one in the video is here .. /watch?v=eMaOILE3dZ4
Dominic Lawrence Sygaco: Wallpaper of ur nexus please. And also the red one on the preview. Please
oode: download the " halo" app from the play store, you can then " pin" an app to halo, even if you don't have a notification, you can access it any time through halo :)
Amin Roslan: Homebrewman, download halo app from play store from the paranoid android. It gives features for opening any apps
homebrewman231: You said it works with any app, it really doesn't it only seems to work with apps that have notifications and only when you have a notification from that app. For example I wanted to do a PDF reader overlay, or a calculator but is not possible because neither of those have notifications. Still a cool feature.
dumbpeopleannoyme: pac-man rom for a reason
oode: not without some effort. firstly you would need to root your device, then you would need to install the Paranoid Android custom kernel, so its possible for sure, but it will require some effort from where you are right now .
oode: thats exactly what this video shows ;-)
bassjunkie223: can i have this on my s3 im still on the stock firmware (latest)
gorandroid: what is HALO exactly?
oode: thats possible ...... infact im running that right now ... so all you have to do is go to ... settings > hybrid properties > interface > nav bar 0% :-)
oode: fair enough , ill admit iv never tried it on a MAC , which is obviously its home lol, but for windows, god its slow, and takes about 2 mins to open . and my comp isnt slow .
Morgan Freeman: I think that the best way for PIE is to have the status bar stay but get rid of the big amount of space wasted on the home button bar. I understand that will be a very difficult feat to accomplish though, but Paranoid Android always does it. PIE+HALO doesn't do it for me. I like the status bar idea. Maybe a hiding status bar and PIE. I am sure you hear this so often. Thanks! All your videos are useful.
Morgan Freeman: Only cancer for Windows. Mac's can't get sick. Except for Steve. But iTunes=the BEST music player on Mac's it is instant on my MacBook Air. Super nice. I have over 10,000 songs and it opens in a second and plays as soon as you click the song.
wooders2310: Damn if only CM picked up this or something similar. So innovative.
oode: how to enable the status bar? sorry can you explain that a little clearer
oode: no prob
Lu c: HOw to enable the status bar...?
Lu c: i try it, thanks for answer :)
oode: hve you enabled it in the status bar?
School: Thanks for teaching us how to fix it. The problem with most Medical assistant in california is usually the cost of education. Hopefully it'll pay off. Thanks again.
