Kristopher Brock: I found a much simpler solution so the relay does its job in carrying the current which was connecting pin 85 on the accessory relay to the NBS relay pin 85 so when the key is on it grounds the accessory relay and in turn grounds the NBS relay and it works like it should, The way he suggest by-passes the relay and supplies power to the speaker amps from the radio feed and i am surprised he didn't blow the radio fuse in the IPM.
Sonny Day: what does the purple and white wire go to
Ashley Liddell: Can I put a double-din navigagion system in my '11 Chrysler 200 without modifying? I want to change my standard radio but Crutchfield keeps saying I must have a flip-out unless I modify, really hate to do so. The OEM navigation is too expensive.
Danny Martz: today try to install a aftermarket radio in chrysler 02 non infinity system, connect everything but not sound ,connect the factory again the factory and work, ,what can i do?i was not see any remote wire . i try to send signal with tone generator but any sound, aftermarket radio work for a moment after take off the factory radio , but take of the key , and turn on in ignition , and not sound again,
Cynthia Young: or part number 70-1818 i did my research and hook it up that way without a long ass wire like that
Michael Young: I dont get it so just run the regular red power wire off the 87 on the relay rather than the one in the stereo harness?
Jovanne Travers: it say asd is that it
Ben Monteiro: Following the instruction but i receive no power. If disconnect power comes back...
Ray Johnson: How do you remove the radio from the 1997 Chryslet T&C LXI
Dee Lovett: Ok I have a 2008 chrysler sebring and I have a Kenwood ddx370 I hooked up all the speaker wires up color for color... and red black and yellow up color for color but got nothing... But if I take the yellow and red wire from the back of the unit and put them together then place them on the yellow wire from the wiring harness it comes on but won't cut off when I turn the key off so what am I doing wrong
Eric C.: Great video.
Jack Whiffen: I believe that this is what I need to do to finally replace my head unit, but the last time I messed around with a relay box it didn't end too well. before you attached the wire to your relay box, was your head unit getting power but not putting out sound? also do you know if you are doing this fix because your van came with the infinity sound system? Appreciate the help.
Mike Driggers: hey oneshot i have a 2000 chrysler t&c lxi this red wire u installed does this bypass the manuf. amps that r on the speakers them selfve ive been trying to find how bypass them without having to buy new speaker and rewiring the whole van.
ken14850: is this the same for a 2006 pacifica do you know?
Ken Tague: For everyone: I used 16 gauge wire, and attached to the switched power on the radio (red) so there would not be a constant drain, works perfectly!
Ken Tague: what gauge wire did you say and which lead, the constant or switched? thanks!
1967oneshot: P.S. This vid is just to show you how to set up the amp! And yes I did buy a wiring harness! 2 they are Infinity speakers and this is a mini van!!! What do you think I'm going to do thump rock my nabors with some 12" woofers sporting 3 6 year olds in the back!! lmao And before you say a thing NO I wont put Hydraulics in it neither!
Richard Denis: why didn't you just buy a wiring harness for ten buck and plug it in the the existing one in the van no need to run new wires just snap together and turn on your ignition and there you go, memory setting are stored on the stereo and no guessing which wire is what for the speakers. all memory presets are stored. and you wanna take it up a notch you can add power amps and replace factory speaker for better quality ones and add a subwoofer too....
zech1309: look i have a big problem i hav one extra wire
