Advanced Integrated Controls: The very best bookshelf loudspeaker on the planet. Designed by KEF using
technology from it's flagship Blade series of speakers, these things are
jonas Dogue de Bordeaux: I love that song its great for testing kit
phantasm1004: I only wish that when people did these sorts of demos, that they would use
more interesting music! This overly simplistic music will make any system
sound great because there zero complexity to the music. Way too much
minimalist music is used in these demos (small jazz ensemble; chamber
music; odd new age music, etc.). How about complex full scale orchestral?
How about a large chorus in full forte? How about rock music? The kind of
music being played in this video does not fully demonstrate the ability of
the system as a whole. The music being played here is way too easy for the
system. The system is barely having to work up a sweat. Let's hear some
more complex music.
Luca Sugo: Why not something with more "BOOM" ??...
папа карло: такие колонки надо показывать с референсным сд проигрывателем...
MyIDIsNotAvailable: thanks for this video jaxwired. I have a question if you read this and want
to help. to what size of the room at biggest do you think you could put
this speakers in?? my room is about 4x5 meters and 3.5 meters high. dou you
think they are to small for good listening experience?
zorhis1996: is ur stand from ikea ? do u like it ?
Chris Kapuscinski: I picked a pair of these up,.. and I'm selling the 5 others pair of
speakers I bought including Martin Logan ESL's, MG12's, Paradigm Studio
20's V5, Totem forests,.. perfect for a very small room of 9x12, bass
is ridiculously amazing, selling my DD10,...
Jacob Staunton: hi there quick question and would really appreciate your experienced answer
please I'm going to get some bookshelf speakers and I've got £600 getting
because I don't like my q acoustics 2050i's. I've got some nexus solid
speaker stand great stands and Audioquest FLX-SLiP 14/4 (bi-wire) with a
Yamaha rxv673 and marantz cd6004. Should I get kef ls50's or the new b&w
685 s2's thank you.
P.s you should test some b&w 685 s2's
M. Arif Zeeshan: Hi,
Where did you the stands?
Jose Francisco Lobo: Great looking speakers big sound for the size
jaxwired: MORE MUSIC
Konstantin Gibalo: what streaming device being managed by Iphone do you use?
Jose Albuquerque: Sounds good. I have listen them in my local store because I wanted an
upgrade to my mission 751, they are good stuff but I still prefer the 751.
I guess that amplifier makes any speakers sound good.
adwonjae: i came to this video to see the size of ls50. Surprised to see so many
people saying they sound good. haha for those who think so stick to
whatever u are using and just use a sound effect in your sound card to
create "stage" feel..
Nicolai Laursen: is it overkill to go with mono block amps for these? xD
Phong Nguyen Quoc: Would you mind telling me what equipments you used in this video?
CHIBA280CRV: Wow they really sound amazing !!!!
jaxwired: I could list 50 more equally good that you've never heard of.
livefastandforever: Very nice set,and what a great sound!!
Thanks for upload!!
Amg00322: Can there be a more pointless video?
Jingo Lopez: Very nice speakers. I can afford them eventually.
Eric Shutter: "What a great sound" ??? You are listening thru your own speakers, not the
LS50. It seems people are still monkeys.
Antonio Perez: Just received my ls50's I purchased off audiogon and I have to say I have
never heard a speaker like this one, and I have b&w 805 and b&w 703.
Pim Boswijk: I like my ls50 with a small sub from mj acoustics. It's just a bit extra
under 60 Hrtz and it gives you the full sound at classical and jazz music.
Topnikko: I really like your AV rack. Can you please tell me what it is?
Mozart FX: They look smaller in all the pictures I've seen. It's nice to see they
have a bit more...girth to them than I thought. I'm looking for a speaker
that excels at midrange as I do a lot of low level listening. Thanks.
Punyatorn Chanthale: Is this normally NAD m2?
Peter Krizovsky: ...great speakers and great music, LS50 is a good choice.
What do you use to airplay ?
Todd Cameron: Great looking clean set up.
julesdownunder: I'm not the only one wondering what these tracks are then. I liked some of
it so much I looked it up. 0:05 Ray LaMontagne 'This love is over' 2:04
She & Him 'You really got a hold on me' 3:16 Agnes Obel 'Riverside' 4:22
Ben Sollee 'Its not impossible (boys don't cry)' 5:51 Chris Pureka
'Cynical' Thanks heaps for this video jaxwired. You just expanded my music
Ben Bandito: i never really had the chance to hear these speakers in real life...how was
the bass response? im a acoustic listener and something like you're playing
now...nice setup dude.
Jacob Staunton: Sounds amazing but that's with a wireless apple so 320bits max Why don't
you have a memory stick with 192kbit lossless that would sound so good you
would poo yourself.
MonkeySpecs301: nice ass vid man
rs73only: Not Bright at all!!! on the contrary. I tried them for a week in my Living
room with the same Amp NAD M2 :-) then took the speakers to my office> Amp
is a NAD 2200 (from 1985 !!) Carver C5 preamp (1991) + NAD wireless DAC
/Macbookpro LossLess audio files.... the LS50 are on my big Desk... the
sound is ..... close to perfect
blackjack83100: please write the name of songs. Thanks
jaxwired: Nope. The Dyns are staying. These are just for kicks. And man they are
amazing for the money!
asiafas: By the way what camera are you using for the recording! Any external mic?
adam johari: great speakers. i'm a noob when it comes to audio stuff, how is it that
you're playing airplay on the LS50? is it through the receiver in the
middle of the video? could you tell me what receiver that is?
166nibbles: They're insensitive at 85db so what tube amp were you thinking might drive
stevo131313: Beautiful looking setup. Hard to say from the audio on youtube, and not I'm
not sure of the intended listening position/microphone position, but the
room seems a bit live to me despite the corner traps. Your system and ears
may appreciate some treatment of first reflection points. Best wishes.
Richard Joyce: NAD M2?
jaxwired: IKEA LACK TV STAND - $50
adam johari: Thanks man. I'm starting to learn a lot about hi-fi setups in general. What
do you think about Kef's x300a? Not sure if it's out yet, but it's more
within my budget.
jaime ortega: what's the last song?
Sergey Yakovets: Хорошая техника
Diatonic5th: Awesome! The sound stage must be massive with the LS50's. I bought a pair
of the cheaper Q300's last month that sound amazing for their price.
