jaxwired: I could list 50 more equally good that you've never heard of.
CHIBA280CRV: Wow they really sound amazing !!!!
Todd Cameron: Great looking clean set up.
julesdownunder: I'm not the only one wondering what these tracks are then. I liked some of
it so much I looked it up. 0:05 Ray LaMontagne 'This love is over' 2:04She & Him 'You really got a hold on me'
3:16 Agnes Obel 'Riverside' 4:22 Ben Sollee 'Its not impossible (boys
don't cry)' 5:51 Chris Pureka 'Cynical' Thanks heaps for this video
jaxwired. You just expanded my music collection.
Mozart FX: They look smaller in all the pictures I've seen. It's nice to see they
have a bit more...girth to them than I thought. I'm looking for a speaker
that excels at midrange as I do a lot of low level listening. Thanks.
livefastandforever: Very nice set,and what a great sound!!
Thanks for upload!!
Antonio Perez: Just received my ls50's I purchased off audiogon and I have to say I have
never heard a speaker like this one, and I have b&w 805 and b&w 703.
Jingo Lopez: Very nice speakers. I can afford them eventually.
Topnikko: I really like your AV rack. Can you please tell me what it is?
Ben Bandito: i never really had the chance to hear these speakers in real life...how was
the bass response? im a acoustic listener and something like you're playing
now...nice setup dude.
Peter Krizovsky: ...great speakers and great music, LS50 is a good choice.
What do you use to airplay ?
Pim Boswijk: I like my ls50 with a small sub from mj acoustics. It's just a bit extra
under 60 Hrtz and it gives you the full sound at classical and jazz music.
Amg00322: Can there be a more pointless video?
kurosaki541: Sounds amazing but that's with a wireless apple so 320bits max Why don't
you have a memory stick with 192kbit lossless that would sound so good you
would poo yourself.
MonkeySpecs301: nice ass vid man
rs73only: Not Bright at all!!! on the contrary. I tried them for a week in my Living
room with the same Amp NAD M2 :-) then took the speakers to my office> Amp
is a NAD 2200 (from 1985 !!) Carver C5 preamp (1991) + NAD wireless DAC
/Macbookpro LossLess audio files.... the LS50 are on my big Desk... the
sound is ..... close to perfect
blackjack83100: please write the name of songs. Thanks
jaxwired: Nope. The Dyns are staying. These are just for kicks. And man they are
amazing for the money!
asiafas: By the way what camera are you using for the recording! Any external mic?
adam johari: great speakers. i'm a noob when it comes to audio stuff, how is it that
you're playing airplay on the LS50? is it through the receiver in the
middle of the video? could you tell me what receiver that is?
166nibbles: They're insensitive at 85db so what tube amp were you thinking might drive
stevo131313: Beautiful looking setup. Hard to say from the audio on youtube, and not I'm
not sure of the intended listening position/microphone position, but the
room seems a bit live to me despite the corner traps. Your system and ears
may appreciate some treatment of first reflection points. Best wishes.
Richard Joyce: NAD M2?
jaxwired: IKEA LACK TV STAND - $50
adam johari: Thanks man. I'm starting to learn a lot about hi-fi setups in general. What
do you think about Kef's x300a? Not sure if it's out yet, but it's more
within my budget.
jaime ortega: what's the last song?
Sergey Yakovets: Хорошая техника
wiffy1m: If you can, you'd probably be better with the R300's because they offer all
the advantages of the RX's and the LS50's and would be the better speaker
in every way.
Diatonic5th: Awesome! The sound stage must be massive with the LS50's. I bought a pair
of the cheaper Q300's last month that sound amazing for their price.
jaxwired: Last song is "cynical" by Chris Pureka
zenpmd: What is the track listing on here Please share! Thanks
asiafas: Hi Jax, Really cool set up, i have the Monitor Audio Rx2 bookshelves in
white gloss with a rotel pre and power driving them, thinking of an upgrade
since you have heard both PMC and the KEF ls50 i was wondering what you
think i would appreciate more. I heard some PMC gb1 quite a while ago and i
thought they were magical nothing i have heard since has sounded the same.
A little light in the low end but the vocals and soundstage were
unbelievable, your thoughts please the PMC 21 OR KEF LS50 Regards
worstalentscout: KEF........yuck (cringe).......
mrhoffame: If they sound this great through youtube, would love to hear them in
person. Thanks for sharing!
akila219: hello. how do you have your Apple TV connected to the Integrated Amp. Are
you using a Toslink cable? Or are you using a DAC in between?
MaZEEZaM: Loving the choice of music, making me want these speakers even more :-D is
it possible to list the songs you played in the Info section>?
kiton1000: Fantastic sonics in such a small package! Is that an NAD M2 or M3 Amp?
jaxwired: Hard to say. I think a good amplifier is key to great sound. An AVR is
packed with electronics for home theater, it's not going to compete with a
dedicated 2 channel music amplifier in most cases. I'd recommend buying a
good 2 channel amp with HT bypass before changing speakers.
jaxwired: Thanks, I like it too. It's an IKEA LACK TV table. Under 50 bucks!
maxflinn: Lovely setup Jax. Very contemporary and minimalist :)
Dave L: Wow these sound even more impressive then the B&W CM9
ABDUL MU'IZ: just wondering, I have kef Q300 for AVR Denon 1911, will I get significant
result if I upgrade to LS50?.. thanks for replay
rs73only: The Q300 are also amazing for the price, I've replaced them with the LS50
for my office... I planned to use them as rear surround speakers in my
set-up at home, but they are too good to be used as surround .
jaxwired: Have not heard any of the twenty series from PMC. But I will say this. I
have heard and owned many speakers in the last 20 years in this hobby. PMC
is my current favorite. I will be buying big PMCs someday when funds
permit. In the area of monitors like the LS50, I'd say the KEF is more
accurate and more neutral than the PMC DB1i or GB1i. However, if I was
going to live with either the KEF LS50 or say the PMC DB1i, I'd pick the
PMC. It might very slightly color music, but it sounds great!
163riverside: Could use a nice quality tube amp on those speakers.
jaxwired: Chris Pureka. Album is Driving North. Song is Cynical.
